This is our favourite place to have a few drinks at the end of a busy day in the Highlands. It's bar is warm and cosy and has stunning views over Loch Linnhe. They also serve bar meals which we did not try but looked good.

We were taken here by some friends who live nearby for a bar meal. They accommodated 9 of us with minimum fuss at tables with a view of the Loch. There was a wide range of food in both regular and small portions. Everyone enjoyed their meals - quite a feat when the age range was 12 - 84! It... More

This location was recommended by the guest house we were staying at.We ordered 2 prawn cocktail followed by scampi and sirloin steak. The sirloin was very under cooked for medium and was very sinew and had to be commented on.With no hesitation it was room end from table and a fresh steak was cooked. There was no probes and the replacement... More

We stopped off at the West End Hotel for an overnight stay during a train journey. Check in was quick, courteous and easy. We had a great view over the loch from our triple room (number 37). The room was well-equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and had two chairs and a stool so that we could all sit... More

Recommended by our B&B owners so we tried it. Welcomed by the bar staff and given menu. Good standard of food and the service was excellent, very friendly staff. Much more expensive than the pub down the road.

Excellent service in bar of hotel overlooking loch. Menu was average but well cooked (if you like al dente veg). Overall an excellent experience.
