Haggis fitters for starters were delicious but unfortunately that didn't extend to supper. The American platter was mainly brown and didn't have coleslaw as well as forgetting the corn on the cob.... corn said grilled on menu but had obviously been nuked!

We had come to Scotland for the Ben Nevis experience so why not head to a pub aptly named! We had a drink each in the bar and the clientele and staff all seemed very nice. I got asked for id which at the grand age of 28 already puts them in the good books. After our drink we went... More

Went here for a drink then went upstairs to eat, hadn't booked and told 30 min wait. Not a problem so went back down for another drink. Called to the table within 20 mins. Lynne was our waitress very friendly and accommodating to our awkward order!!! Food was lovely, nice setting and friendly staff. And if looking for a recommendation... More

I went into the pub for a late lunch. I asked the barman if the nachos for 1 was big enough as a main course, even though it was listed as an appetizer. He noted that the size of dish was massive. And I ordered a plate of nachos and a beer. 15-20 minutes later I got the nachos, garnished... More

We ended up here as our first choice was full and we didn't want to wait. Got here in the nick of time as soon after we say down the place began to fill up and others were having to wait for tables. The service can be a little slow when it's busy but it's worth the wait. Surf and... More

The service was quite slow but it was also quite busy. Food was average although our waitress was really chatty and friendly and kept smiling through the turmoil.

To busy restaurant. We have been told to wait for 1 hour downstairs, in the bar. The barman is rude and does not even smile. Once we have been called to the table and ordered our meals we have had to wait several minutes till our meals have been brought. The food, American style, was not as good as it... More

Visited the half-empty pub on a lazy holiday afternoon. Comfortable, common pub milieu. Good beer and whisky. Unfortunately the otherwise laid-back atmosphere was totally ruined by the 1980s disco (!) music pouring in from the loudspeakers. The two bar maids seemed to be busier listening to the music and gossiping with each other than serving the handful of customers.

Dog's welcomed in the public bar where you can have a drink and something to eat and if there's footba on the screen, there's entertainment. Nice friendly staff to while away a wet afternoon in FW.
