We popped in at lunchtime for food and drinks with our dog. It has some nice views and I was impresses with the value of both the food and drink. The meal wasn't perfect but it was good value for money and I would eat there again :)

Ate here on our first night in Scotland and after traveling all day what we really wanted was a glass of wine or beer and quick food. That is exactly what we received. Things were slow when we arrived for an early dinner but by the time we left the restaurant there was a waiting line. It is not fair... More

Called in for a late afternoon meal. Last meal orders taken at 5.00pm if eating downstairs in main bar area, if dining later you eat from the same menu upstairs in the restaurant. Our order was taken by a very nice young lady, and brought to our table within a reasonable time on the requested plates rather than sizzling skillets.... More

Just had dinner at the Ben Nevis Restaurant. It was a disaster from the start. The waitress managed to botch our drink orders. When I later asked for water, she brought me a glass of water - nothing for my husband. The food was - by far - the worst we've had since we've been in Scotland (7 days with... More

Very wet afternoon in Fort William so we took shelter in the bar. Had a window seat overlooking the loch which was dreich and atmospheric! Had some food and a couple of drinks. Lady who served us was nice and friendly. Busy bar

The location was quite nice, in the main street, but the food was just not as good! First of all, they made us pay before even seeing the food, then the food arrived and it seemed like it was just taken out of the freezer. I wouldn't go back there, ever!

We are saddened to hear you didn't enjoy your meal. The process for ordering is the same one we use all the time as it can get very busy very quickly and it saves guests queuing at the bar to pay after their meal. We really do hope you can give us a second chance. More

We ate here 2 nights in a row -which says something. Fort William was extremely busy with various events on and they coped well with the queue. They kept a list of names and you could drink in the bar downstairs and then they came and shouted you. Usual extensive pub menu and food was good and freshly cooked rather... More

Large menu, large portions of decent but generally unremarkable food. We ordered All American platters which was a selection of bbq ribs, southern fried chicken and wings with fries and onion rings. Food was tasty enough but fries were a little cold. Staff were friendly. Nothing special but would come back again.

The tomato soup was a disappointment with the half frozen tomatoes floating in it and the typical British white bread, not be missed, was dry and old. Probably the lasagne wasn't home made and rather tasteless. Service responded very grumpy to our complaints.

We went into the Ben Nevis as other places were fully booked but they did fill up after we went in. The food was nothing special the usual pub grub, but it was fine and have no complaints, and We would eat there again if we were stuck.
