This is one of the best places we’ve ate at in Scotland. The prices are very good and the food is excellent. Service is good too. It’s a mountaineer’s retreat and this makes it even better. Climbing Ben Navis is a full day affair, so the weary traveller will welcome coming back here for plentiful nutrition. We've eaten here twice... More

It had been 3 years since our last visit and nothing has changed. Still excellent service, great atmosphere and superb food. We were a party of 12 and we're given a menu for larger groups. Had we realised that, we would have asked for the ordinary menu as there was a much greater choice. Personally, it wouldn't have altered my... More

Great location at Ben Nevis which i can highly recommend. A bit rural on the inside and outside. We wanted to go there for dinner on a friday but it was fully booked. So we reserved a table for the neckt day. The food was amazingly delicious- tasty and spicy.

We were really glad we found this place on our last night in Fort William. Such a lovely evening with friendly staff, good beer and excellent food. We were a little worried as we decided to battle the elements to get there (30 minute walk from town) but despite being soaked through, we were very happy with our choice of... More

Was in here for dinner after a long days hillwalking, great atmosphere and rustic decoration adds to the character. Food great with hearty portions to fill you up. Advise to book at weekends as can be very busy, has spectacular views and good choice of well earned beers.

Great casual local atmosphere tucked away @ the foot of Ben Nevis. Friendly & accommodating staff, great food-amazing specials. Place was packed (on a Wed eve). We were a party of 7 with no rez, staff told us we had an hour wait, hung out at the tiny bar & had great beer pulled by the friendly owner -Tom, were... More

This is a massive pub/restaurant that caters for families, children and even dogs. You can sit inside or outside there is a good choice of menu. Typical light bites or bigger meals. Lots of options for meal deals and alternative options to cater for all. The food was delicious and it's somewhere you could eat something different every night for... More
