On holiday in inverness we were unsure where to eat out. Popped in on the off chance they had a table. Staff were friendly and helpful and fitted us in. The food was lovely and we ended up having 3 courses. Will definitely go back...More

We had a brilliant dinner in this restaurant revisiting Inverness for the first time in 35 years. I had the scallops followed by the venison haunch - both dishes presented imaginatively and with a clever mix of ingredients. I loved the haggis base under the...More

Mediocre but very pricey for quality/content. I had spicy beetroot and creamed goats cheese salad to start - what can I say - this was something I would expect as a side dish! Main of monkfish which was served with some really weird flavour combinations....More

We come here every time we visit Inverness and have never been disappointed. From the service to the excellent food, everything is spot on. You definitely need to book, we always come midweek and it's always busy. It's no 1on TripAdvisor for a reason.

My partner and I travel frequently to the Highlands and always book a table at Rocpool when we're in Inverness - we've been going there for several years now. In fact, we've been known to make Inverness a one-night stop on a longer trip solely...More

Great food and a lively atmosphere. We went for pre-theatre/early evening menu. The deal a starter and main from a set menu at £17.95 each. Booking in advance is recommended.

We chose this restaurant as our 'posh meal out' choice as we saw it listed in the 'top 10 tripadvisor restaurants in inverness' and were not disappointed. As you walked through the door we were warmly welcomed, the décor was pleasing and modern, and the...More

Description
Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.
