Had risotto which was worst I've had. Not right consistency and very little flavour. Another had steak pie and felt it was dry and underwhelming. Had high expectations which weren't met

Came back as a group of 4 for lunch & drinks post-lockdown. Was fab to be back! Seated under the heated outside area, plenty of tables but still felt like we had plenty of space. Service was fantastic and very attentive, food was great and...big portions too. Looking forward to many more visits this year 😎More

Plenty of food, good service. Couldn't drink but still as good as always. Expanded seating area makes this feel more sizeable.

Lovely evening meal. Good choice on menu. My husband had the steak and I had chicken stuffed with haggis and whisky sauce. Both were delicious. Friendly staff

A pub we tried and failed to drink outside at all week. Finally given a place outside then brought inside when a table became free. Lovely mac n cheese. Beers were excellent too. Lovely staff. Would have stayed but wanted to try a whisky bar...up the road. Will be back.More

Probably my favourite place to eat and drink in Inverness. Very friendly staff and great food. Our 2/5 family met for Sunday lunch and all had roast beef - superb. Ended up staying 3 hours. All COVID-19 regulations are followed to the letter. Just wish...I could be in more frequently to support local businesses.More

We had a table booked on Saturday night. We arrived and were quickly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. The server was very attentive without being over the top and the food was delicious. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly and...a really generous portion of sauce to go with it. My partner had the burger and really enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend.More

One of our favourite drinking establishments in Inverness, the drinks are great , the views can’t be beaten and the staff are first class always friendly and helpful .

Evening meal with husband while on short break. Prebooked but still had to wait outside in the rain for some time til a member of staff unlocked the gate to escort us in. Menu very short. Food decent if a bit pricey for a pub....Were able to offer two types of Sauvignon Blanc which was a lot better than our Hotel could! As with most pubs and restaurants in Scotland just now atmosphere was lacking. Service was very good. All “mitigations” in place - very clean and safe. Was told when booking that pub and Beer Garden were walk ins only but if tables were free we would be able to get one on the night. Tables were free in pub - a little more lively than the upstairs restaurant - but they wouldn’t give us one as they were booked?! Would have stayed for a drink or two after eating if in pub but didn’t stay in restaurant. That aside happy to recommend as good place to eat for everyone.More

Had a family meal here on a staycation in Inverness. Not the widest range of choice but quality is very good. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thinking booking is advisable particularly at the weekend.

I saw dogs inside, but for details surely a quick email to them would confirm. For example most places allow in room but not eating areas.
