Great local food and a cosy atmosphere. Stopped here for lunch and had table service! Fast and friendly, and the food was really good too. Outdoor seating was available.

Always busy, so make a reservation. Portions are large, prices very reasonable. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. The ambience is old Scotland. My first choice on Inverness.

Only stopped in for drinks, but the smells from the kitchen were very enticing. We received a warm welcome and we loved the ambience of the tavern. Their menu was very nice and I only wished we had more time in Inverness to try out...More

Didn't eat here so can't comment but,as a pub only review, this has to be one of the top pubs in Inverness. Their choice of real ales is consistently good. It's usually crowded both inside and out (heated in cold weather), and it takes only...More

The tavern is located right across the street from the end point of the Great Glen Way. Stop in for a celebratory pint and ask about their completion certificates. You are likely to run into fellow hikers as you relax and celebrate.

I saw dogs inside, but for details surely a quick email to them would confirm. For example most places allow in room but not eating areas.
