We booked a table for Thursday night as there is live music and we were so glad we did . The food choices were excellent and the quality of the food was really good ,good sized portions too. The service was excellent even though they were a little short staffed it didn't impact on our evening . Choice of bottle... More

Having read reviews visited for some substantial nosh before lochness marathon. Oh dear what a mistake. Ordered sirloin steak which I couldn't even cut let alone chew, however waitress was really lovely and let me re order. Had vegetarian burger with salad and chips. Again virtually inedible, the burger was deep fried and slimey in the middle, the salad was... More

I will say I'm not sure which was better - the food or the staff. Both were excellent. The food portions are massive, so you are warned, but it was hard not to finish as everyone agreed they tasted great. The staff were very friendly, with some engaging in quite jovial banter with some of the table, making it a... More

Awesome place! We discovered thanks to Tripadvisor and it's really amazing!!! Ask for the Haggis and mussels! (You would like to drink the mussels' sauce!!!!). The rainbow trout is also really good! Good local cask ales to drink. We'll come back!!!!

This pub is ok. Based on the website, I perceived it to be more upmarket than it really is. The food was ok. The service was good. The room was very hot. The drinks were good. It's not a disaster. The TV dominates the room, which is not really our thing.

Brilliant meal! Had to wait for a table but totally worth it. Barman friendly while we waited. Food was excellent! And I'm a picky customer who doesn't often eat out because I'm easily disappointed, often thinking I could have made that better at home for a fraction of the cost. Not this time. Exceeded all expectations and I'll definitely be... More

First time eating haggis and we'll do it again, thanks to the way The Waterfront prepares and serves it. Great selection of whiskeys. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

I had the Scottish Salmon with the chilli and prawn sauce and it was really nice. The presentation was excellent and the prices were ok. It was £3.90 for a pint of ale and £14 for the Scottish Salmon. Good stop on the way to the airport.

Our B&B host suggested this pub and it had a nice ambience - lots of wood panelling and quite cosy. The staff however seemed unable to keep up with service provision both at the bar and at the tables. We arrived without a booking and were told it would be a 40minute wait for a table. Since we had no... More
