It is hard to compare fine dining in the US compared to the UK outside of London. However, the Kitchen provided a very good meal in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is a multistory building right on the river with great views. I would strongly suggest that you request being on the top floor. There is also some outdoor... More

The kitchen is an awesome venue but the service and food is just really disappointing. Cold soup and great descriptions of food that turn out to be nothing much at all. The cherry on the cake... Serving us a steak then coming back 2 minutes later to put it on someone else table! Weird!

We had to book to get a table as it is very popular, we witnessed many being turned away. The food was tasty and well presented. The service was good. We did feel a little close to our neighbours, but it wasn't too much of a problem.

The restaurant is modern looking and our table was positioned on the top floor on the River Ness side which gave us the chance to enjoy the evening view of the river and the town. We've ordered a salmon fillet and a seabass fillet. As the wait was pretty long (between 20 and 25 mins) we asked for 2 sides... More

We had an amazing lunch here with our two children & in-laws. Very personal customer service. The manager took time to talk to our son about the fish in their small tank by the door & the staff checked with our daughter because it was her birthday. Our food was delicious (trout, chicken, pasta...) & the restaurant is conveniently located... More

The food was really good-especially the dessert 'sticky toffee pudding'. The staff were attentive and welcoming. It's a little pricey and you must make a reservation at least a day ahead during summer weekends - it's busy!

Love this little bistro. Lunch special was a starter and main dish for 8.25 pounds. Excellent tomato basil soup and sea trout in a full sauce. Power went out while there and to accommodate the manager gave us a appetizer pizza. Worth a visit!!!!

The Kitchen Brasserie was good enough for us to eat here twice in a 5-night stay in Inverness. Portions were very generous. Among the starters, ham hock & cheese croquettes and haggis sliders were particularly good. Of the mains. devilled Sri Lankan chicken was terrific. A South African Old Vine Cinsault was a wine with a difference (& inexpensive too).... More

Had a lovely lunch here this week, two courses for £8.95 - bargain! Fabulous food but not much of an atmosphere. Staff were polite and friendly. First time visiting but to be honest I think I'd rather go to their sister restaurant across the river next time. The little things (Lack of tablecloths, food presentation, could do with a lick...
