Lovely little restaurant. Great menu, wonderful opportunity to try snails and frogs legs again after many many years. Slightly lacking in atmosphere, might have preferred to eat in the front but really enjoyed the evening!

Wow, such wonderful French cuisine. A lovely menu to tease the tastebuds, all cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for a lovely lunch or a special occasion.

The food was fantastic enjoyed every bite, I had the crab entree which really enjoyed followed by the chicken stuffed with stornaway black pudding with the most beautiful sauce, Sweet's was chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce. Loved it all.

I was looking forward to an evening meal at this establishment and my Wife and I went out of our way travel and time wise in order to sample its food. I was a little disappointed. It was very simple French cooking and I would go as far as to say a little, (Bland) Certainly not worth the expense of... More

Fantastic French menu... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our two week holiday in north east Scotland. It is absolutely fantastic. Brilliant menu, friendly waitresses, prompt service, beautiful wine and ambience to boot. I had the tagliatelle to start (visit 1) and the goats cheese salad (visit 2). Both perfectly cooked. I would have liked a red onion chutney for the goats cheese... More

We enjoyed our meal in this rather noisy restaurant. The French chef is a long way from home in the cold north of Scotland but warms his clients with his fine cooking.

An outstanding meal - superb menu with good service and a particularly nice touch was the French chef coming to speak to us at our table.
