Wonderful blend of French cuisine with local Scottish ok ingredients - best of both worlds. Locsl fish and seafood delicously prepared. We had the crab salad and the smoked duck for starters, lobster and scallops and the cheese plate. They were all so tasty, delicous to the last mouth full. Very pleasant waitress.

Cold windy night in Wick became a pleasure when we found this place. Welcoming staff, good French based menu with excellent freshly prepared food and the French owner/chef tours tables after service talking to customers - a nice touch!Highly recommended

Great food, good service and lovely atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat in Wick. Busy place so best to book a table.

Friendly staff and made to feel welcome. Food promised so much but consistently just missed mark. Fresh crab salad appetiser lacked any dressing. Fish soup was very tasty. We each had steak au poivre. Too much sauce and distinct lack of peppercorns in sauce; meat however was perfectly cooked and tasty. Vegetables lacked imagination but gratin potatoes and fries were... I had seen this restaurant advertised on a rather faded sign on the road into Wick but I did not know whether it was still in business. It's on Market Street which runs along the North side of the river between the two bridges. It's just as well that we booked, because it was very busy when we went there... More

Ate here after seeing it on TripAdvisor. We both had a three course meal and really enjoyed it. There were a lot of locals as well as tourists dining. The chef is french and comes out after service to chat to you and ensure you enjoyed your meal .

the food was delicious. the atmosphere could have been better by just adding some music and/or candlelight. i wanted to have tagliatelli, but this was only as a starter on the menu. it was not a problem to make it a main dish. friendly staff, fast serving and plenty of food for a very reasonable price.

Have been a frequent visitor over the years and have always enjoyed my visit. However my last visit was definitely the poorest for two main reasons. Number 1 the portions that were served, for a group of 4 adults, was not enough to fully satisfy two adults let along 4. And secondly the cost. For a lunch time it was... More
