Every time we visit Aviemore it is a tradition of ours to have a meal at the Old Bridge Inn. We have spent every anniversary we can here. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are fantastic so friendly and welcoming. If your not eating, it is the perfect place to take shelter in winter by... More

We've been regulars on our bi-annual trips to Aviemore for the past few years. Returned on this trip following their closure due to flooding and it's as great as ever. Our kids vote this their favourite place to eat too! Highly recommend it to all.

Like other reviews this place is loud - not the place for a quiet dinner. The starter of goats cheese was lovely and presented prettily so no complaints there. Then the fillet steaks (only done medium rare) appeared in what seemed like nano-seconds afterwards. We only had time to have the one glass of wine during the 2 course meal!... More

I just love this place the food is amazing and the staff are excellent, nothing too much trouble. We had the beef and it just melted in you mouth, the variety of ales is good too, or so my husband says. We will be back again next visit.

We have been regular visitors to the OBI for many years and were very upset when they were flooded out in December 2015. When we returned in June 2016, we were greeted by a new and improved pub and the menu is spectacularly good....and finally, there's chips (French Fries) on the menu....and they are the best chips we've ever tasted!... Popped in for lunch into the public bar area. My wife and I were staying locally and everytime we passed the place was always busy with tourists and locals alike so that's a good sign. Checked that our dog was allowed and then ordered some drinks and bowls of soup and platter of cheese. Staff very friendly and prices not... More

This was the best restaurant we ate in on our trip through northern England and the Highlands. Interesting food carefully cooked. My dish of hare was memorable but also lovely starters and puds. Yum!

This is the third time I have visited and it was better than ever, the food was 5 star once again and the service superb even though our waitress was only standing in for someone she was excellent and also hilariously funny! I had venison carpaccio followed by mountain hare, both extremely tasty. If you like craft beer they also... More

Went for dinner, had a great experience. Our server was the best, didn't get her name, but she was filling in for help as they were shorthanded. She works in a mountain bike center, and used to work there four years ago. Anyway, food was fantastic, I had mountain hare with tatties and blueberry, and salmon for appetizer. Great selection... A great find while holidaying at InverdruIe. Food great and good selection of beers and ciders. Would advise booking if going for an evening meal. I enjoyed my food so much on our first visit I ordered exactly the same thing two nights later. Was a bit pricier than other establishments in the area but it did not put us... More
