I have never queued to get into a cafe before but in this case it was worth a short wait to get in! Food was amazing! I ordered chowder which was served in a huge bowl and was delicious, came with fresh tasty bread. Service was fab with very friendly staff and a view over the Cairngorms, what's not to... More

We went around 1:15, and had about a 15 min wait. we both ordered soup(which was a great serving with a yummy scone and butter), my husband also ordered a sandwich; everything initially was served quickly, however my husband was so full and we could not manage eating the sandwich, waited for at least 20 min for someone to ask... Had to queue for a short time for this very busy restaurant. We had the soup and savoury scone. I have never seen such a big bowl of soup! Very good service. Highly recommend.

Just arrived in Aviemore and too early to check into our accommodation we decided to stop off here for lunch. Delicious home made soup with home baked bread and HUGE falafel and roast veg sandwich on another home baked bread and the kids special (see photo). Food and service both fantastic. Would highly recommend.

This cafe serves excellent food and great coffee and cakes. The wait to get in can be tedious at busy times and service slow but this is mainly due to how busy the place is. If you are in a rush wait until you have time to wait and appreciate the whole experience.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast on way down A9. Enjoyed the delicious banana bread and berry compote. Relaxed and cosy environment. Short queue at door but less than 10 minute wait. Delicious.

Had a recommendation from a friend to go here, as we were going to be staying in Aviemore for a week. It took a couple of days for us to try it, but wow!! Our friends weren't wrong, we ended up going 3 times and were not disappointed. You need to try their "PIECES" go hungry! As you need an... More

So I am currently sat in the departure lounge of Inverness Airport, tucking into a giant piece of chocolate beetroot cake that the man in security jokingly threatened to confiscate for the staff. It was not funny and had he taken it before I could put a piece of it's delicious moist chocolatey sponge with cream frosting in my mouth,... More

We use some of Scotland's best local produce to create healthy, wholesome & interesting food with a Kiwi twist. We opened our doors in 2004 and have been gaining awards and accolades for our antipodean style coffees, delicious breakfasts, superb lunches & fresh home baking ever since. Our service is friendly & casual with a professional team from all over the world. The café offers excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains - enjoy our balcony area during summer and the cosy log burner to sit by during the winter months. All the pictures are of our food - why not come in and sample our hospitality when you are in the area next?
