No queue, so for the first time I was able to get in with a minimum wait. It is very popular. Coffee and cakes were the order of the day. Good selection including gluten free options.

Visited here recently, can certainly recommend the soup, very tasty, hits the spot. Also serve mulled wine that also was very nice, on a cold day certainly warms you up. Views from the top are magnificent, would recommend the funicular railway, you also get a running commentary of the railway and various sites on the way up, so all in all... More

Popped in to grab some hot drinks before our quad biking. Took 10 minutes to take our order and after chasing our order after 25 minutes and being asked if I can wait for them to complete the two orders before me, and then bringing up the wrong orders, we left 40 minutes later with not actually having a drink.... I visited the cafe on my mountain railway trip this weekend, Although all I had was a cup of tea and a bit of cake it was lovely & the scenery is great.

Went for flat whites and cake for take-out. Many cake options! They don't have plastic forks if you do take-out. Saw they also serve burgers. Wish we were able to dine in.

I guess we were lucky but we didn't have to queue for a table when we called in for a late lunch. Mind you, we still ended up waiting quite a while for the food to arrive and at several nearby later arrivals got fed quicker. When it did come, the lunches themselves were very good, a chunky fish soup... More

Literally cannot speak highly enough of this place: fantastic menu, friendly staff, tasty food. So refreshing to see so many veggie-friendly options on the menu and the option to make many options vegan. My husband and I had the veggie breakfast, perfect for hungry hikers as neither of us could finish! The cakes looked amazing too - we'll save room... More

Husband & I had breakfast here while we stayed in Aviemore. I had the bacon, banana & mixed berry pancakes. They were amazing!!!! I wasn't sure about the combo to begin with but it really works well. Very nicely presented & tasted divine. My husband had the vegan cooked breakfast & got a really big plateful that he couldn't finish. Very... More

We use some of Scotland's best local produce to create healthy, wholesome & interesting food with a Kiwi twist. We opened our doors in 2004 and have been gaining awards and accolades for our antipodean style coffees, delicious breakfasts, superb lunches & fresh home baking ever since. Our service is friendly & casual with a professional team from all over the world. The café offers excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains - enjoy our balcony area during summer and the cosy log burner to sit by during the winter months. All the pictures are of our food - why not come in and sample our hospitality when you are in the area next?
