The restaurant is above average, however could not quite go for very good, therefore the '3' rating. My son has Cajun chicken for starters, they were nice, however such a small portion, 4 nugget size chicken pieces for £5.95, massively over priced, I had Nachos, nothing special, very disappointing start. The burgers arrived, we both had a Mississippi burger (strange... More

I went with my wife a two children. Staff were very friendly and attentative even though it was busy. Good choice of food and all came out fairly quickly. Prices were average for food but only negative was the price of the beer. I got a couple of pints of the Cairngorm brewery ale and think it was priced £4.35... More

Located adjacent to the Strathspey Railway Station, Roo's Leap Restaurant has table service by young people but we found them attentive and efficient. Food was high quality even at the burger level and there was plenty of it. Wine starts at around £17 a bottle and a meal for two with starter is going to cost between £40 and £50.... More

The restaurant is situated next to Aviemore train station, with windows overlooking the platform if you're so inclined...The lunchtime menu is varied in range and price, we ordered soup and the half-sized fish and chips, portion sizes were more than ample. Service was friendly and efficient and the food very tasty and well presented. The toilets were spotlessly clean and... More

Reasonable meal for the price when food can be expensive. The surroundings were pleasant and the service was good.

Very accommodating staff as I only eat small portions, they let me have the children's size meal. It was very tasty, lovely surroundings, we loved it

The burgers are incredible and you get your money's worth - only downside is the chips, taste like they're frozen chips and there's a lot of them. Would be nice to substitute them or have the option of not having them instead. Staff were all friendly and the prices are decent!

We chose this restaurant out of convenience, as it's right on the main street of Aviemore, reasonably priced and I found the Jamaican Jerk Chicken very appealing (yummy!). My husband was a bit disappointed with his beef burger, which fell apart whilst eating, and I would have liked a cocktail, which they didn't offer. Accommodating of our 8mth old baby... More
