We've been to Glasgow twice and been to O Sole Mio twice, it's that good. Lasagna was amazing. We got the theater menu which was a great value.

Ate at O Sole Mio last year and had to return when we travelled back to Glasgow. There are many Italian restaurants in Glasgow is this is one of our favs. Hosted a large group from out of town. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent for the price.

The night we visited, a ( Sunday evening ) they only had a handful of diners, but it still had a pleasant atmosphere, The layout is good with most of the tables set in a semi private booth configuration. The food presented was good, tasty and with reasonable sized portions. Prices were reasonable for a city center location. House wine was... More

Good value, food very good, portions a little small. Basically very acceptable overall. No complaints but a little disappointed considering this restaurant has a very good reputation.

We didn't book but were quickly shown to a table. Service was very friendly and courteous. The menu is extensive and varied . We chose from the set lunch menu which is terrific value for the quality of the food. The mushroom risotto was very tasty with plenty of garlic. My son was impressed with the pizza. All food was... For a city centre restaurant the prices are really good. Pre-theatre menu £12.95 for two courses but the main menu is also reasonably priced and varied. Antipasto for two £12.95 was delicious with 3 types of cured meats, 3 cheeses, olives and artichoke, served with lovely focaccia. Tagliatelle alla carbonara was made in the traditional way with egg yolk and... More

Wow!! After walking around looking for a decent restaurant early evening we stumbled into this one. What's it got? Atmosphere, really good Italian food, friendly and knowledgable staff, all at a very reasonable price. Best find in a long time.

Went here with a group of girls before heading to the theatre. The food, as always, was amazing. Caters for gluten free. The wine was delicious! And the service was quick and friendly.

Pre theatre menu at £12.95 for two courses and extra £3 for a third course , if so required was fabulous value. Varied selection. I chose Lasagne which was one of the best I've tasted and my Mum's beef stroganoff was equally tasty. Portions not huge but more than adequate. Service was good, and cocktails nice and again good value.... More

We went here without booking which was nearly a mistake but they squeezed us in. The Pre-theatre menu is £12.95 for 2 courses, I had Mussels in a cream sauce then mushroom risotto. Both very good. The wine, Nero D'Avola was ok but a bit thin, good with food. We will be back. The staff were excellent.
