This place serves the best sushi I've tasted in Glasgow. Every meal is delicious. My favourite dishes are the rainbow roll and the ikaten. My flatmate and I visit monthly. The bill can add up when you order a selection of small dishes but it is worth it! The staff are so friendly too.

Everything tastes amazing in this place. When you go in you can always smell something roasting somewhere. The starters are original and varied and the main courses are great. Plenty choice for vegetarians and vegans.

No matter your appetite, Nanakusa has a dish to suit. Personally, I stick to the basics, Ebi Tempura/Sashimi to start with a Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup main. My friends who have eaten here have very varying tastes and have never had a bad word to say. The pricing structure is also very reasonable. When I took my parents out during... More

We found this place by chance when searching for a restaurant on a very rainy evening. Even if it was quite late, they accepted us in and served us two wonderful noodle soups. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable, the staff helpful and kind, the food really fresh, tasty and prepared in an open-plan kitchen. Cooks are Japanese. Prices... More

This is a tricky review to write because our group had wildly differing experiences. Me - 1*, husband - 5*, 2 friends both 3*. The place itself is funky and welcoming, fair warning though there's no easy parking nearby (try a couple of streets over in parallel to Sauchiehall Street). The seats are low but fairly comfy, avoid the back... More

I had a lovely dinner in here last week before a trip to the cinema, some sashimi and steamed rice with warm plum wine. The service was very efficient and the food was lovely.

This is literally the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to so far. The fish is extremely fresh, dishes well presented and the staff is super nice and friendly. My girlfriend and I pop in every month to treat ourselves. Sushi is divine. Definitely worth going. Amazing place!

Restaurant in beautiful old Hall. Food was average. Had the bento set. Chicken teriyaki was over- fried. Smallish king prawn tempura.

Forget about all the bad reviews you might have read - I can't imagine there would be many - and just remember this one. I noticed that some reviews complained about the authenticity of the restaurant. I lived in Hong Kong for many years and ate Japanese food there, as well as in Japan where I would spend some holidays.... More
