i'm is not an Indian food lover, but since the first time i visited there i totally loved it.every single dish is delicious.the cafe doesn't take reservation it's more like a tapas bar. be prepare to queue up for 1+ hour. they do have a restaurant nearby which take reservation if you have more people to share bigger potion.

This is a fantastic restaurant- tapas style so you can mix and match your food. For the portion sizes the food is very well priced you definitely get value for money. The service is great the staff are incredibly friendly and are always willing to answer any questions about the food and make recommendations. I live to come here with... More

I love Indian food, not necessarily the hot and spicy variety (although I am partial to a hot curry and a Cobra.... or when in India, the real Kingfisher) so whoever decided to combine the idea of Spanish tapas and Indian food really needs a medal!! The food is so good here that I have to admit I and my... More

The first time I visited Mother India's Cafe in the west end of Glasgow I found that if I wanted a table of a Friday or Saturday evening that I would have to queue. Not one for queuing I was not very happy about this but I needn't have worried one doesn't wait long at Mother India's Cafe. The waiter... More

Mother India has been here pretty much as long as I can remember. Tremendous service and food. A great place to go as a couple, family or friends. Everyone talks to one another in here for some reason... met some great friends here who remain friends to this day. Got to be one of the must go places in Glasgow.

We came here after seeing the restaurant on Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. It did not disappoint. Delicious lassi, tender naan and assortment of fish and meat curries. We forsaked dinner reservations for a late lunch. It was worth it.

Mother India is the best curry house in Glasgow. It's always busy but if you can't get a table, get a carry out curry. There's also a great cookery book on offer.
