Visited T&E last night for the first time and loved it. Food was fab, service excellent and loved the atmosphere and general layout etc. Really impressed with everything and also great to see such a great place and they haven't tried to fit too mgany tables into the space. 10/10 well done to the T&E team....

Have been here a few times now. Food is always excellent but find that the speed of service from the kitchen is far too slow - to the point where I don't know if I'd return again. It's a shame because there is no issue with the excellent service from the waiting staff and the flavour and presentation of the... More

Hi Daniel, thank you for taking time to write this review. It means a lot to us that you consider our food & service as "excellent", and "top class" regarding flavour and presentation. Sometimes, as we strive for perfection, I appreciate that things can take a little longer. We apologise and have taken steps to prevent this from happening again.... More

We had a 5pm voucher for the 5 course tasting menu and paired wines for £85. We booked in advance and advised 1 vegetarian. We went on a Sunday a few couples were on the chateaubriand deal and a big group of 8 were coming in. We were greeted by a lovely lady and seated at the window. The restaurant... More

Last Sunday my partner and I went to Turnip & Enjoy for our anniversary meal. Although the place was empty, our food took over half an hour to come and when it did my lamb was overcooked and chewy. I sent it back and was offered no apology but was told it would be remade ASAP. While I waited, I... More

Which is what my friend and I did last night with each others dishes. Both of us had a starter of blackened mackerel, dressed crab, fennel, bergamot, fennel pollen muffin. Superb match of flavours and textures. For main I had confit lamb rump, pearl barley biryani, pistachio, apricot curry gastrique. Photo doesn't do justice to the beautiful flavours of the... More

We had a family dinner here last night: the people were friendly, it was easy to book a table and we felt very much at home. Every dish was beautifully presented, clearly with pride, and all cooked to precision. Prices are very reasonable. The wine list covers a remarkable range. The decor is warm and the ambience relaxing.

First visit and liked it from the minute we sat down. Given plenty of time to make our choice and food was delicious. Our table was near the open kitchen and chefs worked away and every plate looked fantastic. I had cod for main and creme brûlée which were both amazing. Lovely atmosphere and waitress was attentive but not pushy... More

Fairly short notice booking for very popular Sunday Lunch. Most other local restaurants already full. Not at all disappointed that we got a reservation here. Interesting menu and food tasty, hot, and freshly prepared. Staff pleasant and attentive, busy and good atmosphere. Highly recommend to give this restaurant a try!

My wife and booked the restaurant through 5pm.com The attraction was the unique menu as it was different to anything else in the West End. The food was a Scottish take on good autumnal ingredients. Highly recommend.

Stopped off for lunch - Turnip & Enjoy looked like the best option in the area. Put off by the name tho' - not sure it works. Smallish restaurant (10 tables of 4 I think) - very "urban" - cross between a west-end front room and a garage - revealed original brick walls, steel joists and frames, open glass frontage... More
