We’d been to Turnip & Enjoy on a number of occasions over the years but until last night, hadn’t experienced Sebo’s (the owner) brilliant new small plates menu. To say the food was superb is an understatement! The fritto misto was outstanding helped by a...More

This restaurant does a twist on Tapas where you can order small plates. In reality the plates are not that small three between the two of you would be more than enough. The food was ok if not spectacular unfortunately it was a the service...More

Absolutely wonderful meal here on Saturday evening. The menu had changed since my last visit and now offers 'small plates' - of which I am a bit suspicious. These however were super (and not particularly small!). Crab dumplings were a lovely starter with a spicy...More

Apart from the chips and cheeseboard there was nothing on the menu we had experienced before. All the dishes were delicious, ingredients clearly discernible, local produce wherever possible. They're quite small and not expensive, so you can select several between you. It was an experience...More

We called in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning as it opened at 10am. It had some good choices on the menu - but it was a little limited. The full breakfast was good although slightly dry. The granola option seemed much better. The...More

I haven’t been before. Heard good things, wasn’t disappointed. Misto Fritto, a good mix of seafood and fish. Watermelon salad a nice combo for me. Pumpkin fritters were a little large, therefore no very crispy but I enjoyed the oniony accompaniment. Their own Gin with...More

My husband told the waiter as we were leaving that we had had 'very nice meal ' . This was not true. My husband was lying to be polite and paid over £70 for this very British response to poor service and patchy food quality....More

Stopped for a wee bite with my son who has recently become vegetarian. Had shiitake haggis with warm bread and whipped walnut butter! The flavours were amazing. We paid a bit more than you would normally for a small lunch, but totally worth it!
