Looking for a good Indian meal while in Glasgow for a short leisure trip. Google came up with the Dhabba . What a find..don’t be put off by the few negative reviews, think they must have gone to a different Dhabba, or just your usual...wingers…our experience was fantastic. The food was superb, great taste ( we had the bhuna gosht and the Dhabba Khas) and good sized portions. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault it. Thanks for a fantastic pre-gig meal…More
Having had the same dishes on our local Indian for many years now, it was refreshing to have a diverse meal with lots of different options to choose from
The staff could not do enough to serve us and make us welcome, Glaswegian hospitality at...it’s best
The meal was out of this world, filling, aromatic, tasty, the meat fell apart, everything about this meal was just on point, the starters had me sold!!!!!
I cannot recommend this little restaurant enough guys
Take a trip to Dhaba and let them show you what they do, you won’t be disappointed on flavour, price or the friendliness of the staff xxxxMore
I visited with a group of friends on a Saturday evening recently. We were extremely pleasantly surprised. The Panna set menu was one of the most delicious Indian meals I've had. The service was friendly and efficient too.
Booked well in advance for 8pm, but still had to queue then wait inside (Not a problem). Now 8.30 pm and shown to a seat 3 feet across from the open door. Waiter seemed surprised we wanted a seat where we didn’t have to eat...with coats and scarfs on.
Had to leave as there were no other seats. Not impressed.More
The dhabba is an experience you have to try. The food that we ate was one of the most flavoursome meals I have had in a long time. The staff were great and explained things on the menu, advised that maybe 2 rice would be...too much and all in all a great culinary experience.More
Felt compelled to write a review as we had such a lovely meal tonight here. We had booked for 8pm and arrived an hour early to be cheeky and see if we could be slotted in. Not an issue and brilliant friendly service. Meals arrived...quickly and food was brilliant. Normally feel this kind of meal can be heavy yet I have to say, it was so fresh, tasty and great atmosphere for a rainy Glasgow evening. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.More
I have been to this place twice..The taste is horrible..No fresh food..it's frozen..the taste is not at all authentic Indian..First time ever I have seen such poor taste of Paneer in authentic restaurant..Indian chat sucks..stale taste of patties...roti was so cold..staff is rude too...
Well I have to disagree with the negative reviews here as this place was wonderful. Lamb starter was very nice and chicken tikka was simply delicious (not too spicy neither but just right). Staff were very friendly
