I came here because I had heard of the To fish and chips and decided I had to try them - and I was not disappointed. The tofo is wrapped in seaweed and fried in batter and it is just absolutely the perfect fish substitute for veggies/vegans. The chips were also chunky and tasty and I enjoyed the pea mash... More

Just want to say how awesome this place is. Every food item I've tried on the menu is delicious and the staff are always happy to help. I recommend to anyone looking for a laid back non judgemental environment who has the planet's best interest in mind. The tofish and chips is amazing. Weird but amazing! The blueberry and banana... I am a committed carnivore and view any meal without meat as a waste of a meal. You could basically say I'm the female Ron Swanson, except without quite so impressive a moustache. When I agreed to meet my vegan pal for lunch, I was secretly dreading it. What was I going to be made to eat? Sweepings from the... More

This was my first visit to a restaurant that served more than one vegan option, it was great to have so many choices. I had the seitan burger and sweet potato fries, bean dip and tortillas and the home made ginger beer. Going back with my daughter this weekend and can't wait!

Service was very good. Food was a mixed bag. Some members of the party really liked what they got and others thought it was kind of bland. I liked the pizza though! Cool space overall, and the integration of the record store, restaurant and bar was interesting.

I was excited to see the diverse menu but thought everything ended up tasting rather watery. We had the tofish, sausage pizza, and bahn mi. Chips and side salad were the best part. Chocolate cheesecake was ok. Coffee was bland.

Oh lordy, where to begin! This place is great. I visited with my partner, firstly for the record store Monorail music, which is well set out and has a great selection of records, cd's and dvds. We sampled some of their home brew soft drinks, ginger beer and rose lemonade, delicious! We already had plans for dinner but the food... More

Came here for brunch with my partner who is vegetarian. We were seated but then waited a little while to be served but Im putting this down to the chilled out atmosphere. We went for the brunch special which was basically a vegan fry up. It was awesome and set us up for the afternoon. Coffee was good and we... More

13th Note across the road has declined a bit recently when it comes to service, but Mono seems to be getting a lot better, and their range of food is absolutely excellent too. They recently became dog-friendly, and they're also child friendly, so it's a good option for familes. The to-fish and chips is amazing, the seitan burger is way... More
