Gem of a place. We were made very welcome by friendly staff who served us excellent food with no rush nor undue waiting. We will return and dine again next time we visit Glasgow.. A 5 minute train ride from Glasgow central to the ssec and about a 10 minute gentle stroll which is well worth the trip.

The food here is amazing. Whether you want to eat with family and friends or impress another, you can rely on this restaurant to deliver an outstanding experience. The staff are warm and friendly the food is out of this world and the setting intimate. Will definitely be back and well done to what is clearly a family run restaurant... More

Enjoyed an early meal here before heading down to the Hydro. Initially we were given the table by the window & next to the door. Given the table had been booked 3 weeks earlier I was surprised. We asked for another table further in the restaurant which was accommodated without difficulty (the waiter did say we should specified in future... More

My husband and I visited on spec on a Wednesday evening. Just after 5pm.....it was very busy. We were lucky to get a table but so glad we did. The food was very good, choice on the pre-theatre menu excellent. By the time we left at 6.30 the restaurant was full. Definitely be back but will book first in case... More

Visited on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant is really comfortable and cosy and the early bird/lunch menu is good value for money. The staff are all great. Unfortunately I found the spiced lamb flatbread starter and chicken supreme main both to be very, very bland. I don't normally have to add salt & pepper to food but used a... More

Quite a small venue, and one which is more about the food than a 'flashy' setting. I had the Sea Bream, which was really outstanding. A selection of interesting puddings, I can recommend the cookie dough! Reasonably priced wine list and excellent service.

Great service, and food was very good if not too exciting, in this cosy little restaurant. No loud music or overly rowdy tables the night we were in but we were aware it was incredibly noisy - a quirk of the acoustics, apparently, that would not suit everyone.

We were looking for something nice, not too extravagant for a Sunday evening, and based on a few recommendations booked in Fanny Trollope's. It hit all the right notes for us - good food, great service, good wine list. We'll definitely revisit when we're back this way.
