A very authentic restaurant with helpful staff who advised us their varied menus. We tried one of their large paper thin rice flour pancakes which was delicious to accompany our chicken and lamb dishes. Starters were light and very tasty! A delightful find with superb food - highly recommended!

100% Gluten Free 100% Coeliac Friendly Delicious regional food from India that is a bit removed from the run of the Mill. My tip: Go for the pre-theatre time slot and save 50% off main courses (just check first as this offer may vary over time...) Try the Dosha - It is like a crispy, crunchy rolled up pancake stuffed... I dined alone on a quiet night, so this place had some work to do. I felt really welcomed by the staff who took loads of time to explain the menu to me, what was good that day, what the new terms meant. I had a lot of food and man, it was tasty and just what I needed. Thanks... More

We were looking for Southern Indian food, and found this. It's a lovely setting on the first floor, and stylish decor. We had the lentil and spinach curry (Keerai Macial) and a spicy lamb dish (Masa Kondhapur), both amazingly tasty. The selection of breads were good too, now I know it is a gluten-free restaurant, they make a lot more... More

I've been here on a few work nights out and it has been great each time. Very different menu to the normal Glasgow Indian restaurants serving great, authentic South Indian cuisine.

The Dakhin restaurant is completely different from any other Indian restaurant I've been to in Scotland. The dishes are not your every day North Indian / Pakistani British curry - so if you're looking for a tandoori chicken tikka masala this isn't the place for you. However if you're looking for genuine Southern Indian dishes with a twist then look... More

First time visiting Dakhin and wasn't disappointed. We had 50% off main courses booked through 5pm deal. Excellent food and service. I can recommend the lamb starter pan seared with green chillies and crushed peppercorns as it was fantastic 👍

South Indian cuisine is really interesting, its definitely different from your run of the mill indian restaurants and that alone is reason enough to visit! Staff are always on hand to make recommendations which is nice, especially if you are willing to give control of your tastebuds to another! I had the vegetarian dosa dish with some extra green chilli,... More

Tried here after previously giving it a miss due to the menu missing some of the typical curry menu items (no naan, no pakora etc) which I sometimes just cant go without when going for a curry, but I was glad I finally gave it a go. The dumpling and croquette starters were a simple but tasty way to start,... More
