Came as part of a group of 6. Just wanted something near the hotel. Hadn't checked out the menu, so was a bit of a surprise when we didn't recognise anything on the menu. Food was great though. A little on the expensive side, but good food and good service.

Came for the £9.95 thali lunch hoping for a treat. We chose the veg thali which gave three veg dishes: paneer, mushroom and peas and sambar, along with raita, kheer rice and a rice based flatbread similar in consistency to idli. The sambar was good though far from the best I've had, while the paneer was tasty too. However the... More

I went here with my Dad and husband and was very impressed with the food. I will definitely go back! We did the 2 course for £15 offer which is on before 6.30pm and it was so delicious. I sometimes find curries here to be a bit greasy and leave a bit of a feeling of 'food belly' after, but... More

Had a fabulous lunch here at a very reasonable cost. The South Indian dishes we chose from the three course luncheon menu (£9.95 as of October 2016) were really delicious. The service was friendly and competent. The loo was clean. I thought the drinks just a little on the pricey side. There is a 10% loyalty card available on request.... More

Read online that this was 100% Gluten free so paid a visit prior to going to the Kings Theatre. Didn't disappoint, had chicken garlic & crushed red chillies with a paper Dosa. Absolutely delicious

Party of four of us came here for a meal, looking for some good Indian food and ideally not the tired old British style menu. Dakhin delivered on both counts and then some. We had four starter which we shared around the table. All were very, I had the buttons mushrooms stuffed with spicy coconut chutney and butter fried. These... More

We didn't know what to eat because there are so many different meals. The guy helped us, and he recommendred some things based on our taste. If you don't like fresh corriander you need to make your choice carefully. We liked the lamb, the chiken, the rise and the bread. Everything was really good and spicy. If you don't like... More

Lovely meal here. It's so nice to go to an Indian restaurant without the usual dishes. The starters were delicious and set us up nicely for the main. We are both vegetarian and we were delighted with our meals. To crown it all we had a great seat at the window, looking out at the City Halls, and a very... More

Established in 2004, Dakhin was the first authentic South Indian restaurant in Scotland. Set amidst the centre of Glasgow's Merchant city district, it offers diners a vast array of speciality dishes from India's southern region.

We're talking about authentic recipes using fresh natural ingredients from award-winning chefs. Food worth talking about, and a warm dining experience to savour.

Dakhin proudly features within the Michelin Guide and comes highly recommended by many food critics. If you are looking for something different from your run of the mill Indian restaurant then you'd best be sure not to miss out.
