We stopped in at Dragon-i for dinner while visiting Glasgow after passing on numerous other restaurants. It seems that there aren't a lot of really good restaurants in Glasgow--most are pubs that become rowdy later in the evening. So compared to its peers, Dragon-i probably deserves an even higher rating. We enjoyed our food, but what really made the experience... More

Lovely evening spent in Dragon-I tonight with 3 friends. Can honestly say the nicest and most attentive staff I have come across in a restaurant. Others could learn from their welcoming and lovely manner. Food was excellent too with great sized portions. Will definitely return. Thank you :):):):)

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on the 9th of July after being recommended by friends/family. The restaurant itself is really lovely, with welcoming and attentive staff and a non-stop flow of water for the table which was great. We ordered from the pre-theatre menu because of it's really reasonable price. I ordered a grilled chicken dish - which... More

A lovely meal out, friendly staff and reasonably priced. There is a good range of food to choose from and they are happy to cater to food allergies and dietary requirements etc. Need I say more? This is a must for a meal out!

A friend and I visited this restaurant or the first time on 23rd June. We didn't know what to expect but it is very handy for public transport. This is a Thai restaurant. My friend and I chose different meals. The meal was excellent as were the desserts washed down by a very nice wine. The staff were always smiling... More

We have been to this restaurant many times, especially if we are going to the Theatre Royal. It is without doubt our favourite Chinese Restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. The food never disappoints ( especially the beef and prawn dishes - mmmm! ) Staff and service first-class!

The food was tasty, but not special. It was perfectly fine - 3.5 out 5. Waitress was very nice, but clearly knew nothing about the dishes on the menu.

This is one of the best meals I've ever had in a Thai /Cantonese/Chinese restaurant in Glasgow. I had the pre theatre meal which was reasonably priced,. I chose a dish called beef nui, which was scotch beef in a satay sauce with vegetables and rice and the flavours were stunning. Service friendly and helpful. The meal made up for... More

Description
In a remarkably short space of time Dragon-i has become one of the most talked about restaurants in not only Glasgow, but in Scotland as a whole. In fact, this astonishing eating establishment has captured the headlines south of the border, having been named one of the top five Chinese UK restaurants in the prestigious Observer food monthly supplement. But Dragon-i is more than a traditional Chinese eaterie - considerably more - as the plethora of culinary awards testifies to the creative skills of our Scottish Chef Silver Award Winner, Stephen Man whose remarkable vision has turned it into an unforgettable dining experience. Their outstanding passion in creating a superb dining experience and a friendly environment with outstanding personal contact make any visit an evening to remember and treasure.
