Four of us went to Dragon-i on a Saturday evening at 6pm for its pre-theatre menu before catching a show. The staff were very polite and attentive, the wine was perfect and the food was excellent - really tasty, fresh and not too salty, spicy or bland. We all thought it was great. I highly recommend the Thai Duck, it... More

Very, very handy for the Theatre Royal - good food too! Nice Chinese / Malay cuisine served in nice surroundings by friendly staff. Just across the road from the Theatre Royal, couldn't be handier.

Had a great pre-theatre meal. Every dish was good, a couple of them excellent, including the Thai sea bass and the Malaysian curry. The restaurant staff were very welcoming, friendly and chatty. The pre-th menu was also excellent value, especially for what we got. Overall really glad we came!

We have been a few times and the pre-theatre has been excellent each time ! There is a really good choice of starters and main courses and we love the flavours you get in this restaurant - Chinese, Malaysian and Thai. We really like the style of food which is a bit different to a normal Chinese restaurant. All the... More

If you fancy something a lil' bit different, not your run of the mill chinese, then Dragon i might be the choice for you! Their set lunch menu is varied, with plenty of choices and less than a ten spot for two courses. Mrs opted for the chicken patties, myself the crispy duck for starters. The latter was delish, the... Despite a 5.15 pm booking the restaurant became busy by 5.30 mainly with theatre goers. Staff are very friendly, attentive and informative on the dishes. The pre theatre menu is still quite extensive and was very tasty as always

On arrival we were both greeted with a warm welcome this was to set the tone for the entire duration of the meal. As we had booked on 5pm a glass of wine was included in the price of the meal and this was fully explained by our attentive waiter. After browsing the extensive and varied 5pm menu it was... More

This is fine-dining. The food is fantastic and you know immediately that the ingredients used are the best available. The beef in particular just melts in your mouth. The staff are always friendly and attentive but without being intrusive. My wife and I have been here many times over the years and have always came away with big smiles on... More

Description
In a remarkably short space of time Dragon-i has become one of the most talked about restaurants in not only Glasgow, but in Scotland as a whole. In fact, this astonishing eating establishment has captured the headlines south of the border, having been named one of the top five Chinese UK restaurants in the prestigious Observer food monthly supplement. But Dragon-i is more than a traditional Chinese eaterie - considerably more - as the plethora of culinary awards testifies to the creative skills of our Scottish Chef Silver Award Winner, Stephen Man whose remarkable vision has turned it into an unforgettable dining experience. Their outstanding passion in creating a superb dining experience and a friendly environment with outstanding personal contact make any visit an evening to remember and treasure.
