We used to be brunch regulars at sister restaurant The Two Figs until it sadly closed down. This Sunday we tried brunch at The Left Bank for the first time and we were delighted with the selection and quality of the food. A table of 4 we sampled the eggs mornay deluxe (with mushrooms and truffle), full cooked breakfast, French... More

Evening Drum & Friends! Did you know we've got another sister in the south side? That's right the Bungo Bar & Restaurant are also our kindred and thriving down at the top of Queen's Park! We're so glad you enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff, most often we are quite pleasant...! Please return sooner rather than later, to enjoy all... More

Came here with a load of colleagues who were a conference around the corner. It took an hour to deliver soup and sandwiches, by which time several of us had just given up and left as they needed to be back on the podium. The staff said that they hadn't realised that there was an urgency...but that means people don't... More

Heya LSO, Sorry once again for the delay on food, the two front of house staff that were in on Friday when your table was in did their very best to give excellent service. Unfortunately for yourselves when your party arrived, the last of the university group coming down from the convention, we were told it was to be a... More

Visited over the Christmas period after a nice walk through Kelvingrove park. Chose the brunch menu- Lebanese breakfast , the missus went for superfood salad with cauliflower pakora on the side. The wee man plumped for beans on toast. All were amazing. Seriously delicious. Staff friendly and efficient even although it was bouncing. Brilliant.

Thanks Rhuari! Thanks for visiting during the hustle & bustle of the Christmas rush, your wife got the very last portion of the seasonal menu's cauliflower, and if I remember right, she loved it! The park is lovely this time of year, well all year really, but especially with all the extra decorations and feelings of festivities in the air.... More

Sadly we didn't get to try the food here- after walking all around the West End we doubled back as Left Bank looked lovely. As SOON as we entered the chap behind the counter looked like he didn't want us there. We asked if a table for eight was available and without looking around he said "I can't possibly do... More

I regularly pop into left bank when I can and today was another reason why, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, my waitress Jen was so lovely even when explaining the menu, drinks and brunch options. Never disappointed by this place

I met my son, who is a student at Glasgow Uni, for brunch on a flying visit to the city. He chose the Left Bank as he had heard good things about it and we certainly weren't disappointed. The building is split over several levels and is quirky with a lot of character. The brunch menu was extensive and the... More

This was a welcome surprise. After a little look around we settled on the Left Bank. It was very busy but the pleasant staff got us a table quicker than we thought. The service was very good and attentive with good advice on what was on. My wife had the house burger which I tried a bit of and it... More
