Had a great meal at the Mussel Inn recently. Just the freshest tasting seafood, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The shellfish pasta dish was so lovely and the Red Mullet main course was a delight. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Only small downside was seat are...More

Great sea food. We really enjoyed the mixed fish platter. Plenty to share one between two. Chowder was good too. Casual and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend it for a night out when visiting Glasgow

Went there after we got turned down by a restaurant that wouldn't take reservations, was almost empty and still declined walks ins. Oysters were very fresh, the Saint Jacques were flavorful, service was prompt - all in all amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Our server was helpful, cheerful and very nice. We were in the mood for fish and our mussels appetizer - large portion and shellfish pasta and hot seafood platter were both excellent and exactly what we wanted to eat that...More

We visited for dinner before a concert and because of Trip Advisor reviews. Our food was good without being remarkable and fairly expensive we thought. The restaurant was noisy & very popular.

We love Seafood so we moved to Tripadvisor recommendations and walked here. It was very good - a nice selection of dishes. My mussels had a Scottish variation in sauce and texture - most interesting. I had 1/2 kilo and could not finish them which...More

A terrific find in the heart of Glasgow. Wonderful seafood, though a tad pricey, and some of the best service we had in a month in the UK. Reservations are strongly advised, and try to get a window table for people-watching on the busy street...More

The restaurant is not fancy but the service and food make it up. We were served right away. The menu is for seafood lovers. We shared the kilo of mussels between the two of us and a salad. It came with bread. There was so...More

If you love seafood you will love this place. Casual atmosphere but top notch food. I had the mussels with roasted red pepper and chorizo and the prawn stir fry. Great service, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Check it out.

I like that other people have answered this question, just to say "i don't know". How brilliantly pointless. To answer your question, I also have no idea.

They had plenty of options that were gluten free. Many seafood options with veggies & potatoes and buckets of mussels.

The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
