A terrific find in the heart of Glasgow. Wonderful seafood, though a tad pricey, and some of the best service we had in a month in the UK. Reservations are strongly advised, and try to get a window table for people-watching on the busy street...More

The restaurant is not fancy but the service and food make it up. We were served right away. The menu is for seafood lovers. We shared the kilo of mussels between the two of us and a salad. It came with bread. There was so...More

If you love seafood you will love this place. Casual atmosphere but top notch food. I had the mussels with roasted red pepper and chorizo and the prawn stir fry. Great service, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Check it out.

The restaurant is a bit sterile in its appearance but the seafood is very good. I started with the Moroccan style steamed mussels and would have been happy if that's all I had. It was a huge offering. But dinner was just as good. All...More

Didn't get a chance to eat at the Edinburgh location. First thing we did was to go to this location to eat mussels and oysters. Service was great and so was the food. I only wish I could have eaten more, my only regret!

This place is amazing. My wife and I ate here for my birthday, we had a table booked and when we arrived the place was mobbed. Smell of the food was brilliant and the atmosphere was perfect. We where seated beside the window and served...More

Have visited Mussel Inn in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Most recently it was the Glasgow one. The food was delicious, as always. The special scampi starter was lovely. They tasted really sweet and fresh. The mussels were fantastic too. The one I did notice though...More

Took 20minutes to order drinks and longer to order food despite asking to on numerous occasions. Rude, unpleasant service. Over an hour to get a main course. Overall, would not recommend.

We had dinner at the Mussel Inn, based on a local resident's recommendation. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful - friendly and professional. We didn't see any tourists, which was a nice break. We both ordered the fresh fish of the day...More

I like that other people have answered this question, just to say "i don't know". How brilliantly pointless. To answer your question, I also have no idea.

They had plenty of options that were gluten free. Many seafood options with veggies & potatoes and buckets of mussels.

The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
