Eaten with small groups and larger - go for the mezzanine where you have space to mingle and not interfere with other people's experiences. Great service and excellent quality food

I read about this restaurant in a travel book and liked the fact that it is a co-op type restaurant owned by the people who supply the food. Luckily I was able to get in without a reservation. The food was spectacular and the mussels...More

Mussels very good, service slow to being extremely busy but worth the wait, missed train home. Will return with friends from work possibly for early lunch.

We first discovered the Mussel Inn on a trip to Edinburgh in 2005. Since then, whenever we are in Glasgow or Edinburgh, we head straight for it. We both love mussels, although they have many other varieties of seafood as well. The restaurant is modern,...More

The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
