Heard so much about this place I've decided to finally come and check for myself whether all those compliments were well deserved. And they completely were! Brought a friend with me, we haven't booked a table however we didn't wait at all and were quickly seated. The restaurant was semi-busy, we were asked for water by the wine steward and... More

When I am in Glasgow I always visit The Ubiquitous Chip. Great service, great wines, great food, great ambience but it is getting pricier

Was in on a Friday night and it was absolutely mobbed with people that thought they were important also a horrible smoked meat smell in the place eventually made us leave smelt like paprika sausage (but not in a good way). Expensive and pretentious at the weekend but may be better on quieter nights.

Ecellent Sunday lunch with a big party after a wedding. Children were welcomed and included but didn`t disturb the fine dining experience. Food delicious, servers discreet and efficient, wine excellent.

Best pub in Ashton Lane. Fantastic food and a great variety of drinks to choose from. Nice and cosy when real fire lit. Roof terrace for nice weather or smokers. Decent prices. A true gem of the West End of Glasgow. A++

I didn't have food here but enjoyed the atmosphere as we stopped for a mid afternoon pint. There are several levels and areas to this place and a great vibe. We sat upstairs in a bar like area with a fireplace. It was bright and cozy. Would come back for sure.

We were given some hospitality at this place, what a treat it was, we were well looked after and the meal was delicious and worthy of note. We will be back.

Thank Jan B
