Went fo the 2 course deal menu that's available earlier on in the evening. Had trout, which was delicious. The pudding had us talking about it throughout, just because it was so tasty and full of lots of ingredients. The full price menu and the wines are quite pricey, but worth it I'm sure if you can afford it. Lovely... More

Great food and friendly service. It used to be a bit self important but now the service is welcoming and down to earth. The food remains fresh local and top notch. Love it.

The Wee Pub was a fantastic experience! Bartender recommended some amazing whiskey drinks and was mad cool! Then we had dinner at the restaurant next door. Had haggis for the first time, delicious! And pig cheek. Definitely new and different. Liked it! Taste nothing like bacon, fyi. Cheesecake was tasty! Good service, great restaurant. Enjoyed sitting upstairs though there's an... More

Well over priced!!! The food was nothing special. Won't be back. Cost a small fortune to eat lunch in here, very small portions too. Waited a long time for the food.

Dinner at the 'Chip was the Saturday before Valentines, a wedding gift long overdue. Busy yet relaxed in atmosphere my first visit was a pleasure. Staff were attentive without being pushy and tables emptied and refilled throughout our meal. Skipping the mouthwatering starters our steak and guinea fowl arrived. Medium steak beautifully cooked and melted in the mouth, and the... More

Lunch on a warm February friday. The restaurant is a great space and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lunch started with a soup amuse bouche and all three courses were very good. Enjoyable experience. Will return. Recommended.

I just love this bar, my favourite part is by far the upstairs bar. This place does THE BEST BLOODY MARYS EVER! The open fire, really good bar staff, friendly customers and a great array of dogs dotted around the place - it's exactly what a great pub should be.

An impeccable dining experience on a Saturday afternoon. The setting is unique and pleasant, with a garden-like feel and small fish pond. The service was faultless, friendly and professional without being over-bearing. The food was invariably delicious and beautifully presented, and the wine list is excellent. The set lunch menu was around £22 for three courses; excellent value for money... More

Love the venue. Great staff just wished the portions were a wee bit bigger given the prices. Will continue to go there for drinks and coffee.
