Had dinner there on Saturday - great meal, great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, informative and very efficient. The menu is relatively small but perfectly formed. Food was excellent. A good selection from the cellar too. We'll be back...

A pleasant surprise in a lovely slightly quirky space. We had the set menu which was comprehensive enough and super, the wine list comprehensive and staff knowledgeable with it. An experience we really enjoyed.

We've known the 'Chip' since it opened and always looked forward to going - love the setting and interior, Ashton Lane always has a lovely buzz. Having last been there for our 25th anniversary 5 years ago, it was a definite choice for our Glasgow Uni daughter's 21st - and our 'foodie' older daughter was keen to experience the food... More

I was certainly not recommend going there every day unless you plan on going bankrupt! However it is worth going once, as you get a good taste of genuine and good quality meat. Extremely elegant, suitable for couples celebrating some special event or for a business meet you where you need to impress somebody.

We had an early dinner in the Brasserie at the "Chip". Very good menu made decisions of what have difficult. Gluten free bread was delicious. Engaged, friendly but very professional staff. We will be back.

Recommended by friends...served up a great mussel dish, and so much more. The choices give you a wide variety to choose from. They were busy getting ready for a wedding, so we caught them a little slower on the service, but the faces were friendly and polite!

On the advise of a golf companion we called Ubiquitous, and were able to get a Wednesday night reservation at 7:00. The restaurant was very crowded when we arrived, as it was the day before the Open Championship began. We were fortunate to get in last minute table. Ubiquitous is a very trendy restaurant with a great looking menu. It... More

We had a meal with our family from Poland. This place is a bit more up-market and we all loved it. It has a beautiful interior, very stylish but you don't feel overwhelmed. Very comfortable restaurant full of soul. It's great either for a business dinner or family celebrations.
