Having previously visited the Rogano on several occassions for a few business drinks I was always impressed with the prohibition era art deco opulance that can capture the imagination as soon as you enter the building. Although I work nearby, and walk past the front doors every day I had never eaten in the main Restaurant. There are so many... More

What a bargain. Two courses and a glass (fairly large) of very nice house wine for £15.95! Excellent quality seafood, carefully presented and served by excellent waiting staff. What a great lunch. Will be back!

This has always been one of my favourite bars and, for a long time, fancied eating in the dining room. I was not disappointed. Had the 4 course taster menu. Food was lovely. Service was discrete but attentive.

My partner and I visited for the 'Taste of Rogano' 4 course menu. I have wanted to visit this restaurant for many years and was not disappointed. The food was lovely especially the pigeon course which was absolutely to die for. Service was extremely professional and attentive. Would like to return and try the a la cart menu.

I was wandering the streets of Glasgow in search of an out of the ordinary dining choice, with a friend. Our first choice after an online search turned out to be a pleasant but obviously part of a chain, restaurant. We trudged on and spotted a sign boasting of an Oyster Bar. We decided to take a chance and entered.... More

Went for a drink with my friend. Really liked the decoration, staff is very polite and caring. Nice people great mojitos. You can also sit outside. Really liked it! It is famous for the oyster but we didnt take any. We will go again to try it for sure! A bit expensive but I recommend it !

A perfect meal is rare! Ordinarily, I shy away from restaurants that have been around forever, always looking to try something new. In this case, we had a table reserved due to the recommendation of a 20-something family member temporarily living and working in Glasgow, and were delighted to discover that her advice was spot on. The shellfish tower was... More

Too be honest it has been a while since we have visited, and it will be even longer until we visit again. We visited here with a friend from Paris, I told her that this was a very popular, lovely and unusual seafood restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. The food was good, but we found ourselves being served by... More

The design and decor is classic and the staff are dressed accordingly . It did feel you were doing the staff a favour just being there especially if you have not booked. Even if place seems to have plenty of tables inference is they are all booked but eventually you will get seated.
