I think 4/5 is fair...the menu is excellent and the dishes really interesting. Everything is either hot or hotter, so if you are used to the typical run of the mill curry house food then ask them to tone it down. The spice level here is more like that you would find in India, and the food was really well... More

The service was terrible, the food was too spicy to eat, and the dishes in general were not very good.

we had trouble booking a table for this place as it was almost fully booked. The food was by far the most authentic we've eaten, the quantity was large, what we ordered for 2 would have filled 3. Not the cheapest Indian meal we've ever had but well worth every penny.

Group of us went here and it was the most delicious curry I've had to date. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff and the food was simply delicious.!!

My wife and I decided to return to Mother India for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. It was tricky getting a table as they are always busy. We ordered the Raan which cost £33 between two but is worth every penny. We skipped starters in order make room for the mango kulfi. A great night out.

We had a fantastic meal Thursday night an even went back for lunch on Friday. The food was possibly the best Indian I've ever tasted. Clearly made in the house with the best ingredients. Great service and nice location.

It's a gorgeous restaurant that has a pretty small but fantastic menu, full of things you don't find at a bog standard Indian place. Their butter chicken is exceptional - nothing like normal bland takeaway food - and their starters and vegetarian options are fab. Little bit pricey but you get enormous portions.

This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have been at in UK. The portions are large, prices are decent and the staff is friendly.

The shrimp and crab dosa is quite nice, though it comes with a boring side of lettuce. The entrees tend to be huge, you could easily order only on for two if you're having appetizers. The Lamb Mussalam is very tender and coated in a delicious spicy sauce (I wish there was a bit more of it). The Lamb Pasanda... More
