Have been here a few times, usually when it involves a trip to the City Halls across the road. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits at Merchant City prices. A varied and interesting menu, usually with daily specials. Served quickly by pleasant staff. Can be quite a popular place. All the better to book to avoid any disappointment.

Popped in with friends for a drinks and bite to eat before a gig at the city halls. Went for the "old favourites" menu option of Stornaway black pudding, chorizo with a fried egg. Very nice. Friends had a variety of more exotic dishes from a small but interesting menu. All very positive about their reasonably priced food. Comfortable bar... More

We stumbled across this bar and went in, not intending to eat. Came out fed, watered and well looked after. Great choice of beer and fab food particularly the Korean beef flat bread. Highly recommended for lunch.

Interesting spot for an informal lunch in the Merchant City. Nice feel to the place, particularly if the sun's out and the bifold doors are open at the front. Not a huge menu but just means they can concentrate on doing each dish well. Korean beef flatbread is a highlight.

The staff is just lovely and always taking care of the customer. Prices are definitely ok and I was able to personalize my burger. It was a real one, so juicy and tasty! Highly recommended!

Our first visit to Glasgow. We had our dog in tow so not every bar was available. Found this one using a website for dog friendly places in the city. Although no real ale, they did have some perfectly drinkable beer from Glasgow's West brewery. The wheat beer especially good. Food is very reasonable and different from usual pub fare.... More
