I popped in here for a quick lunch whilst on a day trip to Glasgow. From the amazing 'Bake Off' style cakes to the quirky decor, the place is crammed with creativity. I had a lunch of pancakes and fruit, which was simple but very well done. I would have liked to have indulged in a cake but my stomach... More

A vintage café in the heart of Merchant City. A wide (and good-priced)choice of sweets, cakes and sandwiches. The ideal place to stop when Mr.Sun disappear, as well as to relax and gossip with friends.Chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. What to try:at least two cakes. Hard choice.

If you like cakes and pastries this is Nirvana. Deco has every shade of pink, polka dotted table clothes, pink chairs and grandish chandeliers. Oh and the food is amazing too

happened on this tea room by chance. real laid back vibe, scrumptious choices of cake and interesting "monkey tea". loved the simple but genius use of vintage milk jug in lieu of tea pot .just the perfect size, decor worthy of mad hatter ,in a good way! wish I was as cheerful as all staff were almost 1st thing in... A friend thought I would like this place and she was right. Cool decor, yummy cauliflower soup, vegan soup (for my friend), lots of photo opportunities( including inside the bathroom) Will have to take my mum here now!

After giving Once Upon a Tart a great review on my first visit - I'm sad to be giving it a distinctive average review this time. Still looks quirky and cute but slightly tired although still with a fab looking selection of homemade cakes and delish hot drinks but I was a bit disappointed after walking past several other places... I have been to this cafe several times. The variety of cakes and desserts is quite nice and the prices are average to good. Only complain I may have is that the opening hours during the weekends is a bit limited and It has happened to be send away or advised not to sit in, from 5pm and afterwards, even... More

The cafe was busy and the decor quirky so I had looked forward to a different lunch experience. Things started ok with us getting a table, ignoring the sticky table cloth we had a good cup of coffee. However our expectations were left wanting for the food. The staff were not rude but we could not say they were either... More

I do not have a good word to say about this place. The sandwiches and cakes were stale, the scones were like bricks heated up in a microwave, tea served in a chipped teapot! On top of that the place was filthy. The table was so sticky and dirty we had to ask twice for a cloth to wipe it... More
