I have many fond memories of this place, as I used to work in an office upstairs. It's a proper, original Glasgow bar - not one of those awful Wetherspoon pubs, or an Irish theme pub with plastic trinkets. Drink & food prices are very good and it gets really busy later on. As to the food, well, it's pub... More

Stopped in here for the last drink of our night out. Was really busy (was a Saturday) they had the karaoke on which was a good laugh. Private sectioned off area for birthday parties/occasions. Was a nice atmosphere. Down to earth.

I meet a friend here each time I go into town - the staff are great and the food is really good and well priced. They are quick to bring out the food which is ideal if you are on a working lunch timetable.

Definitely palace to go if you are looking for a lively spot, and have no interest in talking to the people you are with. The drinks were cheap, and music was great, but loud. Not for us.

Ordered food today at 1.05 pm and at 1.40pm still no food to the say the least i am absolutely furious as i only have one hour for my lunch . There was myself and two work colleagues there. Advised the waitress at 1.40 that we had not had our food even though customers who came in well after us... More

Dropped in on a Friday night before looking for somewhere to eat. Should have walked out as soon as we walked in as it was busy, cramped and the music was far too loud. Almost had to shout the order across the bar and as soon as it was placed on the bar the awful karaoke croakers started up. Had... More

Old plain pub, service wasn't very good as it's not really a 'restaurant' more of a place to go for a few beers.

I live in portugal, my niece, sister and I went to Glasgow for afternoon tea, later we went for a walk with the intention of getting a taxi home. We called into this bar for one last drink. The service was fantastic. and the prices reasonable but the atmosphere was so good and the people so friendly we stayed for... More

Visited this bar on a Saturday afternoon about 5.30pm for a few drinks with family before going for a pre booked meal. Bar was really busy, got served quickly by a very pleasant barman, got a pleasant surprise when I received change normally in the town centre there is very little change. Atmosphere was really welcoming and relaxing, will certainly... More

The chicken fusilli is amazing , so much tender chicken with peppers, onions and pasta, I have a great appetite and I couldn't finish it, great price for city centre only £6.35 . I will definitely be back
