Having been to the previous smaller premises and as others have commented the new premises although light and airy don't have the same ambiance, but I feel with a few additions to the decor this can achieve a more rustic look (need to replace the ceiling lamp shades as they are grey striped and not in keeping with the Italian... Me and my girlfriend have been here a couple of times now and I can't praise enough just how good the food is. We had Venison ragu/ the swordfish and the veg ravioli. Cooked to perfection. I Reckon the interior design could have be done a wee bit nicer and more like their old building but don't let this take... More

First time in the new premises, and was impressed, from the moment we walked in. Service was first class, meal first class, overall dining experience first class.

Lovely restaurant, nice ambiance and nice pleasant staff. Pretty basic and overpriced menu. I opted for venison casserole with vegetables. It came and it wasn't in a casserole just a dolloped on the plate. I love the distinctive taste of venison but if I'm honest this was was more like stewed beef. I also got just 4 minuscule tips of... I’m so disappointed to have to leave this review. I have been to this restaurant a few times when it was at its old address and it was always really nice. Tried the new premises the other week and was very disappointed. First off drinks, they don’t sell any draught beers so we ordered a bottle of beer, which came... More

Hi Jenna , fist of all , thanks for visiting Sapori d'Italia What happened? Let me tell you! We ran Sapori d'Italia at the old address for 6 years, reaching good result and reputation, working hard, and dedication, despite the small environment , often uncomfortable. *Only one toilet *Tables to close to the door *Not in off space for Disabled... Italian menus often don't cater very well for dairy free diets, so, I called ahead to book the table and mentioned that I was vegan. I was told it'd be no problem at all - no hesitation. Happy days! On arrival, our dietary requirements were recognised and we were introduced to a wonderful young chef who happened to be vegan... More

Saw the reviews for this ristorante, and was looking forward to visiting. The place only had three other tables occupied, but the service was truly awful. Ordered pre-dinner drinks. After 20 minutes they hadn't arrived. We asked three times, and the waiter just grunted 'they're coming' without even looking at us. Three of the four starters arrived, then the pre-dinner... More

Last night was our first visit to the new premises and it did not disappoint! The new premises are great - so light and spacious. The food was as amazing as ever, and it was good to have the option of the new pizzeria. Thank you sapori!
