Best fish n chips ever! Music was a bit loud, but the food was plentiful and tasty. One order of fish n chips fed two of us and we had left overs!

great place to grab a couple of drinks after a long day in the office. Plenty of seating, good service. Looks nothing from the outside but look past this and go inside!

We passed by Max’s Bar twice and contemplated venturing in, but in all honesty it isn’t the most alluring of facades. But don’t be fooled by that as what lays inside is an eclectic mix of drinks and pub grub to satisfy almost anyone. Sure,...More

We went on a lunch break at work as our office is nearby. It could do with better lighting and / or a bit of work done on the interior because it seemed a bit dingy but that's my only real complaint. The menu as...More

Visited here on Easter Sunday at around 5pm. The place was reasonably quiet and we were lucky enough to get a booth. Our server was very friendly and polite and he was always making sure everything was okay. We both had the chicken and waffles...More

Max's is quite possibly my favourite spot in Glasgow for food, an early drink or a last one for the road. A cool, chilled-out atmosphere inside with helpful staff and a great drinks selection. The food has never disappointed whether vegetarian, fish or meat, with...More
