First time visiting Barolo, had booked here as heard good things and they were not wrong. Best service I've had anywhere, they should open a training school for it! Friendly without being intrusive, and very efficient. this place is clearly very well run and it shows in their awesome wait staff. Beautifully decorated and relaxed atmosphere with a varied crowd... My first every experience was on a business dinner nearly 5 years ago. Absolutely loved everything about this place (food, cocktails, atmosphere, decor etc).....so I took my partner out a few weeks later to try it again. Wasn't disappointed! So have been coming to this restaurant ever since. Food is always superb and so are cocktails :) Great for business... More

Had the meal outside around the corner from the restaurant but this did not detract from the service. Enjoyable meal but at major city prices.

We are just back from another lovely lunch at the Barolo Grill. Once again we booked through 5pm big deal and our meals were delicious. I had white onion and fennel soup (the soup of the day) , chicken for my main and ice cream sundae. Super meal from start to finish. Staff are perfect and it is always our... More

Conveniently situated between busy shopping street Buchanan Street and Central Station. Warm welcome and prompt service throughout our visit and staff should be commended. Seating in leather benches in booths, adding to ambience and privacy. Quiet so could chat freely without having to talk above any major background noise. May be different in evening / weekend service. Food produced promptly... More

I had pasta which was superbly cooked and the sauce was out of this world. The Panzenella was ok at best tasting more like an American salad than an authentic Italian rustic salad

I came on a quiet afternoon and felt like I was the only customer there (when I wasn't) the staff were so friendly and really helpful, the food was incredible. I had a delcisous and healthy salad and soup of the day, food was very reasonably priced and delcisous. Free wifi was a plus. It is off the Main Street... More

Came in and first impressions were actually really good. The original staff member who took our drink order was friendly and pleasant. After that I'm afraid to say the service went down hill. The original waitress must have finished or went on lunch; another waitress and waiter took over who spent most of their time hiding and chatting at the... More

The restaurant is really alluring from the outside - nice design, great decor, Italian theme, open fire pizza oven in the back corner, booth seating - a great set up for a great meal. Something went really wrong in the execution, though. The menu offers lots of interesting meal options and there's a great wine and whisky list (big surprise,... More

Went here with a group of 10 with very different tastes. All our needs ie veg, diet, gluten free were all accommodated with no hesitation. We were seated at the back of the restaurant which was roomy and allowed us to chat. Very attentive service and young waiter was very helpful. All the meals were served piping hot. One meal... More

Description
Situated on Mitchell St, Barolo Grill is two minutes walk from Central Station, Queen Street Station and the Buchanan St Underground Station. Ideal for a business lunch in one of our comfortable booths, celebrations and large parties, graduations and even just to take the weight off your feet while shopping with a well earned glass of Prosecco.

The clue is in the name, as they say - and Barolo Grill is no exception. We pride ourselves on our top quality Scottish steaks, meats and seafood, cooked to perfection, and served with a contemporary Italian touch. Our extensive wine list offers the best in Italian varietals, and of course a superb selection of Barolo wines.

We also specialise in superb focaccia and pizza, baked in our traditional Italian pizza oven and topped with fresh ingredients.
