Visited on a Sat night and it was busy, however service was friendly and efficient. Some good Scottish fare on offer and out of our party of 6 no one had a bad meal quite the opposite. The setting underneath the church is unusual and has a little of a cafe feel but in a good way. Whilst on outskirts... More

We were visiting friends in Glasgow and they suggested giving this restaurant a try as it was highly rated on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is in an unusual location and is situated underneath a church in a quieter street off the main thoroughfare of Merchant City. I thought the food itself was great (haggis bon bon starter – worth trying) and... More

This wasn't expensive but the food could be compare with pub grub. The ox cheek with mash starter was good, the linguine with braised beef and black pudding was strange and didn't work and the fish and chips greasy and I wondered if they were frozen .......sorry just didn't enjoy this

The setting is incredible- under an eighteenth century church! The menu is intriguing with the best Cullen Skink in the world! The mains are delicious but the sweets top the lot! A visit to Glasgow wouldn't be complete without a visit to St Andrew's Square!

Great food, good portions and service. Definitely vfm here. Tucked out the way a little but worth the short walk off the main drag

I can honestly say that the food we had in this restaurant tonight was the best I have had in a long time. I took my inlaws who are the fussiest eaters I know and they came out astonished at the food and service. Everything tasted so fresh and home cooked. The service was friendly and efficient. There was nothing... More

We visited this a lunchtime after tour of church earlier by very helpful guide. Food was great, service excellent. Given discount. We drank St Mungo on draught. One of Glasgow's best kept secrets!

Was given a 5pm voucher as a gift and came along last Monday . we were certainly impressed friendly attentive staff which is a massive plus especially as there is so much poor waiting staff out there. so pat your staff on the back for that. the food choice was excellent and delicious haggis ball and goats cheese and pear...
