I was told I would enjoy this restaurant and the Bistro lived up to my expectations. It was sons birthday and as he lives in Vienna he is used to good food. He started with the leek and potato soup and I had the haggis fritters on Rosti and we both thoroughly enjoyed. Next he had the haggis neeps and... More

Brought my mother in law & her partner for their birthday. As always, everything was delicious. Service exemplary, food was hot, plentiful and cooked to perfection. Maw in law was particularly in awe of the desserts. Always a winner!

I returned to the Black Sheep Bistro on Saturday 6 August. It was my 4th visit and my partner's first. Prior to booking I had enthused about the quality of food and range of choices available and I was again very pleased with both aspects. To start I had the smoked venison, which also came with Parma ham, melon, raspberries,... More

What a lovely little bistro this is. Don't usually have 3 courses but gave in to temptation when I had a look at the desert menu, great selection and opted for the trio of mini deserts. The chocolate brownie was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Hunted for ages to find a new and good restaurant for my wife and i to have dinner. I was not disappointed by this place. The food is wow and the portions are indeed huge. Advance booking is a necessity. Its small and you would drive past it easily but you dont know what you're missing

Visited on a Saturday evening with my partner and friends. The restaurant itself is small and cosey and every table was taken. The menu has plenty of choice for everyone... My partner and I both ordered the chicken stuffed with black pudding served with mash in a pepper sauce, it was amazing!! My friends had ordered the beef Wellington which... More

This was our second visit this year, was worried I had raved about the Black Sheep to much. I was not dissapointed at all. Everything from the decor the staff and especially the excellent food could not be faulted. Love It, love it, love it

I booked the restaurant for myself on a special day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The haggis was really good, the portion was huge! As I am on my own, I didn't order the desser platter. However, I will definitely visit again next tine when I am in Glasgow!
