Popped in here for a bite to eat with my partner and mum. We initially sat by the door but it was cold so decided to move to the back of the room. Asked by a male member of staff (possibly manager) if everything was ok. Both my partner and I ordered macaroni cheese, although it was nice it was... More

We dined here on Thursday 17th November. Been in a good few times already. The staff here are very good at their job and the service was prompt and friendly. We opted for the chilli nachos as a starter and they were delicious. We chose the macaroni for our main course. We asked the waitress if we could have it... More

A fairly nice wee place which serves traditional pub type food at low cost. The nachos here are amazing. Proper fried tortilla with lashing's of everything. Yummers

Big blister(sister) and I found this wee treasure and had a lovely dinner here. I had tomato and mozzarella starter, she had haggis. I had hoisin beef for my main course and sis had fish and chips. It was delicious, 10/10 for food, service and lovely clean toilets too! Fresh flowers were a lovely touch. We will definitely be back... More

I went with my wife for a bit of lunch. The food was really tasty and great value for money. We shall be back next time we are in town.

Bacchus is a great find. The bar is so welcoming, the staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. We had a few items from the menu and can highly recommend the Haggis Tempura starter and the Mozzarella and tomato starter, followed by an amazing Macaroni Cheese - lip smacking good and finished off with fabulous homemade cheese cake with caramel... Bacchus is one of those pubs that pretends to be an eatery. As such food seems to be an afterthought. Everything tastes either cooked from frozen or microwaved. Our food was cold, tasteless and we waited an age for it to arrive. The Mac n Cheese had no cheese. It was gloop and white sauce. The Chicken Tagine was waterlogged... More

It would seem, from you're previous reviews, that perhaps the eateries in Glasgow do not agree with you. Going by our most recent reviews it shows that either our customers have good taste or indeed ,possibly, we had a serious 'off'day. If that is the case please accept our apologies More

I bought a groupon for 4, 2 course meal and a glass of prosecco. I booked a table for 4 people and arrived on time the staff were immediately attentive and showed us to our table. The only extra we had to pay was if we wanted a steak, which we did not. The waitresses were fantastic and the bar... More

Booked on 5pm for the £7.95 two course lunch menu. The menu was the same as online, which was great. Normally I have found the menu changes a lot when booking a special offer. I had haggis bon Bon's, they where excellent. For my main the noodles and satay, the chicken was a little tough but over all good food. The... More
