I popped in to the Butchershop with my wife, we rarely go out of our way to leave a review but I felt compelled. A lovely place snuggly hidden in Finnieston. The food and wine were both exceptional and the staff were so knowledgable and attentive that they really added to our experience. All of the staff we encountered were... More

The staff were so helpful as one of our party is quite infirm and they could not have been more welcoming and made such a fuss of our party. Would recommend this place again and again!

My partner and I booked a meal here through recommendation. It's a lovely place and has a really nice ambience about it, it's quite far on foot from the town centre about 20-30minute walk I'd be inclined to just jump in a taxi as they are cheap as chips anyway For starter we both had the meatballs-they were a bit... Really nice looking place with a good steak menu, I skipped starters on this occasion, although the selection did look nice, and went straight to mains. There rib eye was a good size and cooked as requested all in all a very nice steak. I had a couple of sides which were in total contrast in terms of quality, I... More

An upmarket type of restaurant but not uncomfortably "posh". Not very big inside so if busy it feels bit cramped. Menu is amazing with names of different cuts of meat I've not heard of. My hubby and friend decided to share a cut of meat and the waiter came out with a giant rib bone with the beef still on... More

Returned home after a long haul trip and was looking for a light fish lunch. We chose TBG due to location and did not expect much of a fish course but willing to give it a go. We were glad to be proven so very wrong. Food was excellent Sea Bass on mussels and mash with glazed carrots. This was... More

My husband and I always treat ourselves to an wedding anniversary meal out and don't count the cost, which is just as well as dining at The Butchershop is a bit pricey. Not being a big meat eater, I was a bit apprehensive about going, but my husband had done his homework about the Butchershop and said there were things... More
