Having visited about a year ago, I decided to treat some friends to lunch as they hadn't been before. My previous visit was absolutely fantastic, however this visit was somewhat underwhelming. Service- friendly, if not a little commercial. The two girls serving us were fantastic, but the guy with the beard..didn't seem to really care about the table, very disinterested.... More

Originally just called in for a drink as we had a table booked elsewhere. However it was so nice sat outside in the sunshine that we thought we would look at the menu!! Everything looked really good so we rang the other place (sorry Buddy's Diner!) to cancel and ordered our food at the Mulberry. A plate of Nachos to... More

On arrival we took a seat in the bar, once noticed by the bar man we thought we'd be covered. After a couple of minutes came to the bar and asked if we could have some food. His response "it'll be a 40 minute wait the restaurant is busy"...this to me basically means we would rather you didn't order food... More

Popped in without booking. Food was excellent as was locally brewed beer, and the wine. Friendly staff offered prompt and amicable service. Well worth a visit. Good to see southside offering a nice little local bistro. Well done!

Good location for lazing on a sunny afternoon. Good range of hot and cold drinks at reasonable prices. Only had olives and bread to accompany the cider but they were plentiful and tasty. Staff were kept busy but were friendly and as efficient as could be expected ...... when the sun comes out, the people come, too.

Visited recently with my fiancé for Friday night meal and could not recommend this place enough. I had the 'Stornoway black pudding & poached egg on a bed of spinach with Hollandaise sauce' as starter and I thought I new a nice piece of black pudding but this starter raised my expectations of what to expect from now on. For... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with my Fiancé. The staff were really great and, although it's not a large restaurant, were able to offer us a table. Although the specials sounded lovely, I couldn't get past the lamb tagine on the menu and was not disappointed. The servings were a good size and the food was of a high quality.... More

Description
Mulberry St bar/bistro is one of the coolest bar/bistros in the Southside of Glasgow. It is split 50/50 between a bar and dining area. With a contemporary design style, stocky wooden tables and leather covered stools, it has a good mix of clientele of all ages. The menu is international in style with everything from Scots specialities to Thai curries. With an excellent wine list, it's little wonder many customers keep taking a walk down Mulberry St.
