What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this fantastic little cafe- my colleague and I were on a training day in the area and didn't know where to go to grab a quick lunch. Being fans of independent places rather than chains - we opted for Cherry and Heather. Wow! I'm so glad we did, the chicken Laska noodle soup... More

Great place for a soup and sandwich. I had a coconut lentil soup and it was fabulous. Staff has been always really friendly. Will go back to try the famous meatball sandwich!

I have had lunch here a few times and it's a great little find. Authentic food with wonderful laska and soups. If you're in the area, you should certainly try it out.

My Mum and went for a quick lunch with my Son and his girlfriend as this cafe is just round the corner from his flat and it had good reviews. What a find .. It's tiny but warm and welcoming and has a great menu of rolls ( not your cheese and tomato type .. ) , wraps , cakes... More

It says on the Cherry and Heather website, "We believe that good food definitely makes people happy." I'm not sure that life is as simple as that but I have to say their food did in fact make us very happy! I had the Indonesian noodle pot and my wife the "special" which was a Satay dish and both were... More

After an appointment getting biometric visa I wanted a bite to eat before long drive home. This was such a surprise find. Soup and cakes delicious! Great value and this wee cafe is opened late afternoon. Amazing interesting vegan options.

I was at our Glasgow office and a colleague of old suggested lunch, as he had to post something. Pulling up next to the post office a choice was offered, sandwich or....and I quote "this other place does the best chicken noodle soup ever" I hesitated, then went for the soup. The place is very clean, has a few of... More

Consistently delicious food. Everything on the menu is worth ordering but the winner is the Laksa Ayam noodle pot. For £5 you can't get better value. Friday special is always something to look forward to like Javanese chicken with coconut rice. Run by a dedicated couple who's attention to detail and consistency should be applauded.

I've been using this great little cafe and takeaway for a few years now and the food is honestly amazing. They do a tasty meatballs in peanut sauce sandwich but my favorite is the chicken laksa which tastes better than the ones I ate in Indonesia!!

This tiny cafe is excellent for getting away from the main road noise....try their delicious fresh sandwich selection with a homemade soup for only £5! Or the daily special for a round the same price. Or what about a mini cherry brownie. Or a tasty fresh sushi? The coffee is smooth and freshly made too! They also have a small... More
