Only came across this place in the off chance they had a table on an early Saturday evening. Much to our delight they had a lot of bookings however could fit us in. The decor was lovely. Took me back to the old days of bistros French style service. Menu was limited but that's a good thing. You know the... More

my bf and I found ourselves having a baby-free Tuesday, so decided to go out for dinner. had a quick look on 5pm and saw a deal for Shandon Belles for £8 for 2 courses. I had been before (and liked it - see previous review) so decided we couldn't really go wrong. Tbh, we weren't expecting that much, because,... More

Really looking forward to visiting here after having a fantastic experience at the sister restaurant 'Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery'. Really disappointed with the quality of food and service. The choice was poor and even the dishes the food was served in were poor, we were also over charged for wine. Won't be back!

I was looking for a restaurant in Glasgow that had a particularly romantic setting and this definitely fit the bill. I have also dined at The Buttery and even though that restaurant is typically more renowned, I actually prefer Belles. There is a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere unlike most other places in the city centre and the price of... More

Nice place, tasty food, decent value, good service and a bit quirky. Enjoyed dinner, would go back and recommend.

We tried to get a table at the Two Fat Ladies, but it was full. So we went to the Shandon Belles and were pleasantly surprised. Cosy place, good food, good value.

Beautiful little place hidden on the other side of Argyll street. Excellent food. Served by Natalie who made the experience great. She was friendly, kind and approachable. You could tell she was experienced in her job. Loved the decor. Really lovely atmosphere. Will be coming back soon.

Thought this would be a great pace to finish off a day at the BBC Food Show in the SECC. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Like other reviews the service was poor. In fact it was incredibly slow as if there were a couple of staff members down. Now the food when it came was very good and it was at... More

The food is good and the service is ok, but the building is cold which takes away from experience . Not the best lunch experience I have ever had, but being with good friends helped
