This is a lovely fish restaurant which served us lovely food only to be let down with the service in the kitchen. With long spaces between meals and long wait for all the food to be served. This restaurant is usually great but not tonight.
Not quite sure where the name comes from but assume it’s owned by two fat ladies?
Anyhow, it’s a small restaurant with all sorts of oddments of salvaged chairs and tables. Didn’t mind that style at all. It’s a youngish crowd serving and it does...More
We booked online in the morning which was very straightforward. We received a warm welcome on arrival and went to our table. It is a small place so all the tables, which themselves are small, are close together but we did not feel hemmed in....More
This is very much a fish restaurant, and quite a good one. However, the wine is pretty pricey and they service was a tad laissez faire. Very small starter portions and we thought the vegetable side dish was for two - not four. So, that...More

Lovely friendly unpretentious restaurant serving great good. If you like fish give this place a try. There are alternatives if you aren’t a fish lover but it was fish all the way for us. Paired with a very nice bottle of Chardonnay. Will definitely be...More
There are lots of good bars within a few minutes, most are the trendy type and serve good cocktails. The Griffin Bar is a little bit different, looks like an old pub but has a great range of Scottish Gins; worth a try!
