Looking for food after long haul Sydney to London then train to Glasgow same day..duh!! The buttery was booked out so came here. Nice small restaurant, good service, brain scrambled so can't recall main, but the deconstructed cheese cake dessert was memorable.

Visited for dinner earlier in the week to meet with a friend. It is a while since we have been. On arrival, the place was empty but for one other diner. This is very unusual. It was a Monday but nonetheless every previous time we...More

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Glasgow and we couldn't fault anything. Staff were efficient and friendly, we loved the old style plates and cutlery which were a real break from the norm. The food was delicious, we had exactly the same...More

One of the best meals we had in our 10 day road trip around Scotland. Service was excellent, food was even better. The best Cullen skink we had during the entire trip.

Booked on a Saturday afternoon for that night. Arrived into a busy restaurant which was a tad on the warm side. Our table was at the back next to the stairs and above the kitchen so not the best in the house and I wouldn’t...More

Was really looking forward to eating here as reviews were largely very positive and the restaurant is well thought of locally. Ate with my niece choosing from the early evening menu. My niece was happy with her choices - mainly fish based - but I...More

We dropped in on the off chance and had a warm welcome. Excellent two course lunch, well presented and delicious. Very good service from the waiter. Sea bass and Mackerel were beautifully fresh and cooked to perfection. Thanks.

We came for a late dinner. We did not have a reservation, but were given a table right away. The restaurant seemed under-staffed as there was only one waitress, and she was hard-working, but was being kept busy serving a larger company at another table....More

There are lots of good bars within a few minutes, most are the trendy type and serve good cocktails. The Griffin Bar is a little bit different, looks like an old pub but has a great range of Scottish Gins; worth a try!

My recollection is that it is a restaurant. No sun beds or balconies?
