We went expecting it to be a Clarissa restaurant, but they are not there and perhaps ever was, to me misleading. The place is very nice and decorated very nicely a lot of thought out in to it. The waitress was charming, when asked about Clarissa and Jennifer, she knew nothing about them, the food was good, again not exceptional... More

We both had the deceptively filling sea bream from the 2 course pre-theatre menu, followed by sticky toffee pudding with creme anglaise and blueberry cheesecake, all superb and all for £16.00. Terrific.

My husband and I visited Two Fat Ladies for a special celebratory meal. We really enjoyed our food although the portion of veg we had to share was a little on the small side. My husband isn't a fan of veg so only had a small spoonful, if he liked veg like me then we might have had to ask... More

Visited recently and whilst the food was very good, all had fillet of beef, the veg really needs looked at. Potatoes were nice but the way they're served all stuffed in a little bowl really let it down, courgettes were way over cooked and just didn't look right all thrown together in such a small dish. Our main problem were... More

We visited on a week night with a group of five. Our nearby-hotel concierge got us a table with about five minutes advance booking. The restaurant feels warm and inviting. The food was very good and the service was too. We had their pre-theatre prix fixe and thought it good value. I had nicely prepared sea bream. Don't hesitate to... More

Thoroughly enjoyable casual Scottish experience. Exceptionally well executed dishes, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Terrible food, poor service, uncomfortable seating, dirty floors and kitchen are the only things this location offers. Really, just stay away.

Arrived in time for pre-theater dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced. Some would say the restaurant is cozy while others, especially two fat ladies, might call it cramped. Service was attentive. Would happily return.

The food and service were of a very high quality. The menu covered most tastes. Towards the end of the meal one of our party took ill requiring an ambulance to be called. This was nothing to do with the food. The staff responded calmly and quietly and were very professional. The ambulance crew were still in attendance after closing... More

Third visit and food was excellent as before, service is first class, even though our waitress was heavily pregnant, can't fault this lovely restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit already.
