This is a lovely fish restaurant which served us lovely food only to be let down with the service in the kitchen. With long spaces between meals and long wait for all the food to be served. This restaurant is usually great but not tonight.

Not quite sure where the name comes from but assume it’s owned by two fat ladies? Anyhow, it’s a small restaurant with all sorts of oddments of salvaged chairs and tables. Didn’t mind that style at all. It’s a youngish crowd serving and it does...More

We booked online in the morning which was very straightforward. We received a warm welcome on arrival and went to our table. It is a small place so all the tables, which themselves are small, are close together but we did not feel hemmed in....More

This is very much a fish restaurant, and quite a good one. However, the wine is pretty pricey and they service was a tad laissez faire. Very small starter portions and we thought the vegetable side dish was for two - not four. So, that...More

My wife and I booked through Bookatable. Initial impressions were good. Quirky yet a down to earth look. But it got worse from there. The toilets are awful. Dirty, smelly and badly maintained. You have to walk past the open door to the kitchen to...More

It took us a few nights to get in because of all of the holiday party bookings but once we did get in we enjoyed our evening very much. We ended up going on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not terribly busy. Service...More

It's a fantastic little restaurant close to the center of Glasgow. Although it was a bit full they managed to seat the two of us. The selection is small but the courses very regional and original and they're also happy to accommodate special wishes. Service...More

Lovely friendly unpretentious restaurant serving great good. If you like fish give this place a try. There are alternatives if you aren’t a fish lover but it was fish all the way for us. Paired with a very nice bottle of Chardonnay. Will definitely be...More

We absolutely loved the meal we had there and the service was also very good, attentive without being in our faces.

There are lots of good bars within a few minutes, most are the trendy type and serve good cocktails. The Griffin Bar is a little bit different, looks like an old pub but has a great range of Scottish Gins; worth a try!
