Everything was a treat at this restaurant. From the service, such as own menu for vegetarians as well as vegans - not announced yet at the website, and attentivenes from staff to the food and variation of bread (which is changed every day). The winelist is also very good and at good value. As it was a very hot day... More

Lovely atmosphere . Tone of the staff was just right . Prepared to join in with us on daft jokes , and to be reserved when appropriate during what was a very special meal for us. The ingredients and cooking were perfect . Scallops and beef especially , things that Scotland prides itself , on were so delicious . Not... More

Why have I spent years not knowing this restaurant existed? My wife and I stopped over in Glasgow on the 3rd July and made a last minute booking having searched the Internet for somewhere close. My wife (Glaswegian) had reservations about the location however ....... On arrival we were made very welcome by the staff. It's a traditional feel restaurant... More

We visited the Buttery restaurant for lunch last week. we had not been to this restaurant for many years. What a great experience. The food was superb, the service first class and attentive. Special thanks to the waitress who kept serving the delicious breads. We chose from the set lunch menu which at £15.95 for two courses was great value.... More

Had a late Sunday lunch here before a concert at the SECC. Great, welcoming staff who gave great service. The food was excellent and we loved the ambience of the restaurant. Loved the panelling/plasterwork/stained glass. Will definitely go back if we're ever in Glasgow in the future.

Traditionally the Buttery was one of Glasgow's finest restaurants and its takeover by the Two Fat Ladies Company has kept that tradition. Excellent seafood and steaks. Pleasant surroundings and a traditional, though small, Bar area

We were looking for places toe at on our first night in Glasgow and found this gem. There were 6 of us and we did not have a reservation but they had a last minute cancellation and seated us. The food was fresh and the dishes very innovative. One of our best meals on vacation. First time I tried Cullen... More
