This intimate, cozy restaurant lies in a somewhat isolated section of Argyll Street, so check directions before setting out! The interior is wood panelled and has a selection of intimate booths and open tables. The plate rail around the restaurant displays an eclectic mix of your Grannie's China etc. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is beautifully... More

This is a restaurant in the middle of a residential back street that looks very uninspiring from the outside but you walk through the doors into a perfect Jewel of comfort, hospitality and luxury! Our visit yesterday was for no special occasion just a treat for us and a chance for a catch up with our adult son but we... More

Had a delicious dinner here as a solo diner and couldn't have been more comfortable. Because they were nice enough to squeeze me in for an early dinner, I was able to take advantage of the pre theater menu (choice of a starter, main and dessert). My meal started with a tasty sweet potato soup finished with coconut milk. Next... More

We called in here after remembering the name on trip advisor on our last day in Glasgow . We had previously eaten in other top rated restaurants but were unimpressed . It's in a residential area so we were not expecting much but walking through he door we were amazed ! Staff in kilts or Scottish tweed, beautiful laid tables... More

This restaurant is lovely. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a handsome man in a kilt. We sat in the most comfortable proper chairs where we had our cocktail. From this seat, we were given the menu and our orders were taken. We were then escorted to a lovely table. The rooms are full of warmth . We... More

Had lunch here yesterday. Despite having multiple food intolerances the staff couldn't have been more helpful and supplied me with a wonderful meal. I had the smoked black pudding with baked fig and apple for starter, then the lemon sole on a bed of mashed sweet potato with fresh veg, spinach and a spoonful of very special sauce drizzled around... Having lived in Glasgow for 20 years this had always been on my 'to-do' list but had never actually made it through the doors. Delighted that we finally made it. First of all the service was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. To me it it the perfect balance of care and attention without being too formal... More

Great food. Not on the main drag but definitely worth the detour. Would benefit from a Scottish menu as well as the main menu.

Service was high class from the main door through the whole visit in this restaurant. Personnel weared kilts and other traditional cloths. Interior had luxury of the old times. Food was great and not far from Michelin star restaurants. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Scotland.
