We visited this restaurant prior to taking a coach tour of Scotland, having read the reviews in trip advisor. We were in total agreement with the 5 star rating. We actually were there in time to have the early meal three course special which was an added bonus. It was also a short walk from the Marriott were we were... More

Do not miss a chance to go to this restaurant. The atmosphere is grand, the food is exceptional. The wait staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. I wish I lived closer so I could go back again.

The Buttery was always a highly regarded restaurant in the city. Although the location was not in the best part of town, especially to attract tourists, it created an enviable reputation for excellent food, atmosphere and ambiance. I was reminded by an old friend that she had enjoyed a fabulous 18th birthday party there over 50 years ago, and we... More

We are staying at the Glasgow Marriott which is Avery good hotel but the food is not on the same level. We found this wonderful restaurant which is a five minute walk away. Definitely the best meal we had in Scotland!

Love this Glasgow gem - smart setting, food delicious and very friendly tartan clad staff. Give it a whirl - you won't regret it.

I bought a deal for the private dining for eight people and was not disappointed! The restaurant is fantastic and it felt even more special being in our own private room. The staff could not have been more helpful from the start of the night until we left. The food was amazing, it was that good that i have already... More

West End Restaurant that is both stylish and comfortable. The service was excellent and the menu choices were varied. Ordering both duck and halibut were terrific choices. The best part of the meal were the desserts, possibly some of the best desserts I have enjoyed in years. Run don't walk when you are in Glasgow to eat here.

This has to be one of the best venues in Glasgow. The restaurant itself has lots of character and great little touches such as the Royal Albert teaplates and proper butter knives. The food was exceptional - from the bread right through to coffee. Staff were friendly and professional. No faults or downsides at all. This was my first visit... More
