We have been going to this restaurant for years now when we visit Glasgow - we never fail to eat there when we visit the city. It's now had a bit of a makeover, and is brighter and larger with tables out by the bar at the entrance. Food is tremendous, always has been, service is wonderful, it's a really... More

Downstairs into another world of old italian style and excellent service and great food! House wine choices are great and don't break the bank ,. Great value on early dinner but a la carte quite expensive on the pasta front but about £20 for whole lemon sole ! Not bad price and delicious!

We went to la lanterna after looking at some reviews online. We were more than happy with the cosy atmosphere, and attentive waiters. The food was authentic and extremely tasty. I would thoroughly recommend la lanterna, and will hopefully taking my daughter there for her 18th (Italian is her favourite)

One of the best Italian restaurants we've been too (and we've tried a few)! Food was as good to taste as it was presented. The atmosphere was simply divine with very friendly staff. We were amazed by the value when we received our bill as it was superb value for money. I can not wait to visit this restaurant again... More

Our second visit to La Lanterna, both my wife and I had two fantastic courses. The King Prawn starter and Veal main course were two highlights. Can't wait to go back, the next time we are in Glasgow.

I regularly visit this restaurant when I visit Glasgow and can highly recommend it for authentic tasting food. Lunch menu is very good value and wine reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and efficient. Normally very busy so advisable to book

Had a great meal on the pre-theatre menu. Hadn't been for a while but definately won't leave it so long to return. Word of warning to prospective visitors - no pizza on the menu but with the other choices and quality of the food that shouldn't be an issue. Only down side is there is not a lot of space... More

Enjoyed our lunch there last week. We were on our way North by train, so La Lanterna is ideal being across the road from Central Station. We've been before and are always made welcome - the restaurant is obviously full of regulars who are met and greeted by the staff. Nice meal - My wife was especially pleased with her... More
