This is a neighbourhood restaurant, attractive and personal. The service is extremely good and the food is well executed and full of flavour - the vegetarian and fish dishes in particular- we live locally and although I can't comment on all curry restaurants in the area in part this is because 'the wee curry shop' is so good it's always... Just remember to book a table, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, as you'll be lucky to just walk in and get a table. If you cannot get in here, try Masala Twist just down Byers Road nearby, they are also excellent and are my first choice, try their Curry Mince & Tatties. The Haggis Pakora at the Wee Curry... More

My husband and I have often said we should head to Byers Road for a curry when we were next in Glasgow. So we had time to stroll from our flat in Duke Street, walking along Argyle Street the couple of miles. We spotted a nice menu in the front of a restaurant in Byers Road, but although the door... Had a meal here recently but won't go back. Only two other people there. Had a vegetable pakora my favourite but oh dear tasted raw veggies and flour taste. The pasha air naan was not filled but basically just a plain over baked naan with raw coconut and sultanas sprinkled on top. Rice was dark in colour looked and tasted... More

Been quite a few years since I've been here but it has not changed one bit! Food is still just amazing! Staff are friendly and the prices are just right. And you cannot pass the Haggis Pakora on the menu....fab, fab, fab :)

When planning a family get-together, we once again decided to meet up at the Wee Curry Shop. Table for 6 booked, and no dramas on arrival. Food ordered (all 6 had 2 thali dishes each) and as you would expect they all arrived in prompt order and tasted fantastic. Good atmosphere, great food, perfect service and in a setting surrounded... Decided to try someplace new... Ashoka and Masala Twist were both quite busy, but the Wee Curry Shop wasn't... Figured, hey, why not try somewhere new! First mistake. Service was absolutely terrible. Food was severely disappointing. My meal came out in aluminium foil and my friend's was 100% not what she ordered. No one checked back for us to complain.... More

Went here for the first time last week having heard many times from friends how good it was. They certainly weren't wrong! This is an outstanding restaurant. Food to die for along with a very comfortable ambience. We couldnt fault a thing. Excellent customer service and the Manager was a gentlemen. This place is a must go. Great evening and... More
