We always make the Trans Europe one of our stops for breakfast or lunch whenever we are in Glasgow. My partner is - to be polite - 'fussy'. He loves it in the trans europe as nothing is too much trouble and they will happily accommodate him - as he likes his eggs and salmon done a little differently from... More

We struggled to get a sit down in this busy wee café, good choice breakfast menu but not worth visiting if your gluten free. Waiting staff a bit harassed due to rush, but service was only slightly delayed. 4 different breakfasts all arrived together and top up drinks came quickly. Food good but not great.

This place is recommended by Citizen M hotel, having been reviewed by individuals who stayed there and ate at Trans Europe. It is a quirky place with many of the seats being like bus/train seats. The menu for breakfast is extensive & there its a choice for every taste. We plumped for full scottish breakfast with tea & you certainly... More

Visited this morning, best brunch I've had in Glasgow! Very central location with great quirky decor (bus seats and maps on the wall) and great staff. They have a wide range of dishes on the menu but the brunch is the best. I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a super brunch (one of their all day breakfasts) at the Trans Europe Cafe last Friday. It's a lovely cafe, very cosy with a very entertaining maître d. We both went for their full breakfast but I was very tempted by their selection of French toasts. And I can confirm that the breakfasts were delicious. Recommended.
