About
The idea for our restaurant has been a wee while in the making but when it comes to age it's got nothing on the building we will soon be calling home. After conducting a little research turns out our building once housed a 'Cleek Factory' owned by Robert Forgan, a name known to many for making the best golf clubs money can buy/We are proud of our building's history and here's hoping a little bit of their success rubs off on us.So with Mitchell's deli next door, in homage to local butcher and proprietor Murray Mitchell we thought it only right...Forgan's opening spring 2013Opening Spring 2013Craft Beers & Ales, Restaurant, Public Bar, Private Bothy's, Ceilidh Club, Cookery classes, Wine Club,

Travelled from Perth to experience an excellent evening meal. Service was very efficient. Food to recommend would start with haggis balls followed by duck shepherds pie or mussels followed by fish OR just anything on menu. Yes everything would be great. Will return.

Great restaurant with a contemporary feel about it. Wide selection of good food and drink but the service was slow with the first course taking 50 minutes to arrive.

Had taken our American friends on Wednesday. Impressed with the decor, but we were all cold. Booth next to kitchen quite noisy with kitchen music. 2 hours for starters and main courses...so didn’t stay for desserts/coffee.

We really enjoyed this little place. The set up and furniture was great, and the food amazing. Would be a great place for a long lunch. Service was friendly too.
