I had a lovely lunch here with my daughter and my grand-daughter (who is only 4). Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were pleasant and attentive, thoughtful and friendly. The food was delivered quickly, was hot and delicious. Bethany was given crayons and paper, and ice cream after her meal. There was no hurry Thank you.

We visited here one Sunday night.looks like a golf club inside, with all the golf memorabilia.waitresses talked continually to each other, discussing tips, and talking across diners to people they obviously knew, extremely rude. Food overpriced £12 for macaroni cheese £16 for prawn linguine,£19 for beef stroganoff This is a small pub, serving pub food. I had the £12 Cajun chicken, with frozen chips and salad...roots... More

One of the biggest problems with a site like trip advisor is that it allows people like you to make false claims and let them be printed unchecked. You are factually incorrect on so many levels that I feel I have to respond. We do NOT serve frozen chips, and you are more than welcome to examine our freezers, our... More

We visited for lunch and the food served was run of the mill pub grub from a fairly small menu. Nothing to get excited about. Good for dog owners and service was pleasant.

I went online to check for Christmas lunch menu for 14th December and there were Christmas day lunches and also festive lunch and dinner which I clicked on. I was then given option of reserving a table which I proceeded to do for 14th. We arrived at 12.15 and were shown to our table and handed a menu which was... More

We ate here on a quiet Tuesday evening. A fuel stop after driving up from the south. We shared a small nacho starter. This had tasty home made chili, salsa, guacamole with sour cream as condiments. For main I went for traditional haggis neeps and tatties. My colleague had the steak and ale pie which had melt in the mouth... More

Been a while since i visited the shore. However i wanted to write a review as my friends still go and i remember my last visit well. I love the food and the choice on the menu. Id often get the chicken from the grill or a steak. Very well cooked indeed. The wine list is good too. And they... More

Have eaten here several times but as soon as we arrived we realised something was different as the menu wasn't in the same format. We asked and discovered there is a new chef. Our starters of deep fried brie and scallops and black pudding were excellent and well presented, My husband had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection the... More

Pate, toast and oatcakes for me and prawn cocktail for other half. Followed by ribeye steak and all the trimmings plus pepper sauce and scampi as other main. Accompanied by a nice merlot. Unable to manage a sweet so settled for coffee and brandy. Everything tasty , cooked as requested and served by friendly staff. Never fails to satisfy us... More
