It's a fancy place - very busy (you better reserve a table in advance), great choice and quality of food, nice service. Not cheap though.

We hesitated outside reading the menu and taking a gander at Google for reviews for best Thai etc and a lady came out of this restaurant and said "Trust me it's amazing. You won't be disappointed" well she was very right and we are overwhelmed. Incredible and caring attentive service. Thoughtful staff asked about our palates and our personal preference... More

Went here after being at the theatre and took full advantage of their Pre-theatre deal ! Plenty of choices for starters and main courses. Food arrived quickly and presentation was great , I especially like the coconut rice arriving in a coconut shell. Service was very attentive . Didnt have room for dessert but if it was anything like the... More

Although busy they managed to squeeze us in without a booking. The mixed starter was amazing and the main course was very well cooked and presented. Good value for money considering it's a capital city.

We stopped by Edinburgh on the way home from the outer Hebrides, arrived at the hotel about 7pm and did a quick google of the nearby restaurants. Thai restaurant within 1 minute walking distance - fantastic. We got changed and walked around the corner. Good Thai food with Thai beer. I would recommend and return.

Our group of friends had a superb meal here with friendly and attentive staff/owners helping to make in very enjoyable. We all ate something different - and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return on my next trip "home". Thank you.

Staying in Broughton & Calton

Neighborhood Profile
Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton have long been transitional neighborhoods with a mixed identity. It’s here that Edinburgh’s gay village found a home in the 1980s. But gay culture is anything but overt along bustling epicenter Broughton Street; even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The top of Leith Walk is more ragged. This major thoroughfare boasts a famously gritty gay club, as well as a strip of good Indian restaurants. Regal Georgian and Victorian townhouses preside over largely deserted streets in Calton, where only the occasional restaurant or hotel brings much life. Even so, a steady trickle of idlers and picnickers pass by to climb Calton Hill for its wide-open lawns, wonderful city views, and curious monuments – an Athenian-style temple among them.
