We went all the way there and the restaurant was closed . They didn't bother to contact us even though we had reservation and they had all the contact details. Very unprofessional!

Great spot for beer & good food. Loved that they had such a diverse beer selection. Really loved that the staff were very patient and helpful in describing the options and narrowing down our choices! Try the Mac & cheese with bacon—delicious!

I visited the Innis and Gunn taproom on Lothian Road for dinner on a Saturday night. We managed to get a table, but it was pretty busy so it might be best to book in advance if you don’t want to risk not getting seated....I ordered the Gangnam Style chicken burger, which was good if perhaps a little small. It was served with fries, which were also really good. Of course, one of the highlights of a trip to I&G is the beer. I sampled some beers from a Latvian brewery which were nice, but a tad on the pricey side. All in all, a good visit - I’ll definitely be back.More

Brewery school experience. Wow, what an amazing experience with great knowledge from our host James. Four & a half hours, beer making, tasting, food & a few more beers added in. Would highly recommend!

Good selection of beers, friendly welcome and lots of food choices. Barmaid was very helpful and let us try some samples before trying different beers.

Last time I was in this nice bar a specific pint of beer was £6.10 - BUT last week I popped in and found that this "pint" had been changed to a very fashionable for Lothian Road 2/3 measure which aggravates many people. This new...measure when flexed up made the cost now £7.10 per pint (which I was offered) ....when stating the price alteration and that offering 2/3 measures might be an excuse to hide price rises I was told "well thats just inflation for you". Two thirds pint measures are in general a con so I wont be back in a hurry.More

Hello Ian Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. In this instance, the beer in question was our Caribbean Rum Cask which had recently changed ABV from 5.2% to 6.8% hence the change in price to reflect the extra time & ingredients in...More

Nice location and extensive range of drinks. I really like the idea and concept, drinks were nice, good selection, location is very good, atmosphere is good, food was nothing to write home about and this was actually a major disappointment, very poor food. Og Burger,...lacking in seasoning and flavour, it was really bland, just a mince meat puck lacking in everything. Gangnam stye burger, was supposed to have one day kimchi in it as per menu, it had 2 pieces of lettuce and a sliced pickle, chicken was soggy and the flavour profile overly sweet. Chicken ceasar salads, one was caked in parmesan and excessively salty the second one not seasoned at all. The food was a major disappointment. The citra hopped squid - just tasted of overcooked breadcrumbs and the texture was dry and crumbly. I really wanted this to be a positive review, the concept is great of a smaller brewery making its mark. The food was disappointing and its not complicated cuisine, please make improvements in what you are serving, the food you make is not complicated, it needs improvement.More

We had booked to visit at 8.30pm but upon arriving were told they couldn't accommodate us as all there was a power cut in the local area. The guy was really apologetic and said he hoped we would return and that he'd make a note...on our booking. We returned the next day for lunch. He remembered us and instantly gave us a complimentary glass of fizz.... a nice generous gesture. Our burgers were delicious, as were the beers. A really good experience, thanks.More

We went in as on the door it shows a picture of a pint of Innis and gun lager at if I can remember correctly £3.75. However on ordering the pint was about £7. More or less I can't remember exactly. The same pint in...the caly picture house two or three doors down a great deal cheaper. If you want a pint of Innis and gun then don't bother here just head to the caly picture house instead.More

Only because I'd seen the release of a new limited edition beer did we book a table with friends for food and drink. The food was absolutely fantastic, we loved it. Fresh and hot, and I ruined my diet in style. Would definitely go back....Caribbean Rum Cask beer..... very dangerous..... I could easy drink that all night, just a shame they didn't have the Laphraig Cask beer in yet, but I have ordered online 😊More

I went to the taproom for lunch and to sample some of my favourite I&G brews straight from the tap. Where I am from, we are lucky to get it in bottles. It was everything I was hoping for. Staff were great and the food...was delicious. I am sure it will be brought up in other reviews, but if you are a fan or want to taste a scotch egg, do make sure to order one here, it was near perfection! LOL seriously though, if you can get a Michelin star for an appy, this would do it for them. Nice atmosphere as well.More
