Visited yesterday, the lady behind the counter was rude, the cups not spotless but by far the worst thing was the state of the single toilet. I queued behind 5 other people, male and female to use the facilities which were very smelly and disgusting....More

I was waiting to be picked up for my Scottish Routes whisky tour (which picks up outside Cafe Nero) I had a nice cappuccino , a bit crowded inside but not a problem.

Visited everyday during our nine-day stay as it was the best place to get a good cup of coffee and the customer service was always friendly.

Stopped in for a hot beverage on our tour of Edinburgh. Excellent coffee beverages and nice outdoor seating to enjoy the architecture and people.

This is one of the few places open early in the morning when you need breakfast food or coffee. Friendly service.

A very good place for a cafe latte after visiting Edinburgh castle. Nice interior and furniture makes this a good choice.

We have sit here for a while when the sun was out. Perfect place in the middle of Edinburgh. I had a chai latte and my friend a coffee. It was good and the price was resonable.

Typical Nero, but in slow motion. If you don't have time to queue and wait for slow staff then don't bother. I had a glass half full of ice (lemonade) and in hindsight I should have bought a can of something from somewhere else. Tables...More

We stopped here after walking around and then visiting the castle. Coffee was good but there is not much seating inside.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
