Made the order and the waitress brought kids starters but forgot adult starters and drinks. Ludicrous start. Then they said drinks and starters were on the house - fair enough, nice touch. But when we said we were paying with tesco vouchers they went back on this and charged us anyway! Won't be going back here.

Before we made our 5 or so hour journey home we decided to stop for pizza, the service was great and so was the food. Only problem is that we were charged for water which wouldn't have happened if the waiter had specified the types of water we could have chosen. Overall, very enjoyable.

Walked in. Wasn't greeted. After a wait, had to find out own table. Just weren't very friendly or well informed. Insisted they do not accept Tastecard. I showed them the terms and conditions on the app and it did not show what they were talking about. The pizza was okay but tiny (We got Leggara pizzas). Not good value for... More

Fabulous open layout suitable for all young and old, drinks are in my opinion over priced (but that just might be the location -in Manchester you can get refillable drinks) the serving staff were friendly and welcoming. The Pizza was mouth watering! Try the extra for £1.70 for the flat stonebaked.

Pizzas are of a good standard, drinks are quite expensive, and quite a wait, but on the whole a pleasant dining experience. It just has not got the menu choice of the Manchester restaurants.

I love pizza express for their consistency, I know what I'm going to get before I even go and it will be the same , my only qualm is they took the spinich and ricotta cannelloni and veggie lasagna off the menu. We were waiting quite a while to be seated and service was slow but they were exceptionally busy... More

First I was pleased that this place was open so late. Being a chain I knew I'd get consistent type service and food. So on arriving I was seated and after a dash caused by to much lager at shows earlier I went through the menu. The clue is in the name it is largely pizza! Looking at plates on... More

First time visit today and as it's at the heart of the festival, I was surprised to get a table but we got seated pretty quickly. The starter portion of calamari was ok. Not the best as it was baked and not traditionally fried but it wasn't the worst I've ever eaten. I had the low calorie option pizza with... More

Great visit twice this month with a nectar voucher . Staff on both occasions extremely helpful as we all customised our preferred pizzas. Can't fault this venue Wine affordable and no problem asking for a large jug of water for the kids thank you.

Staying in Old Town

Neighborhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
